Terrific & terrifying story. OMG! This book was so good & addictive. I couldn't put it down. I loved the characters & the story. What a crazy ride! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. Read "Veiled Eyes" first though. It will help you understand this story a little better if you do.

A whole different book. If you enjoyed book 1 as I did, the only real commonality to book 2 is that 2 characters can sometimes talk in each other's minds. If it was a movie it would be a horror film. The riddles get real old, entire pages are copied & pasted only a few chapters later. I had to force myself to keep reading it. 1/2 the book is her running around in an underground maze. We know she will live, so it just gets boring reading it. Book 1 with actual character development and dialog was much better.

Disembodied bones. This book was so great, I couldn't put it down. You are on the edge of your seat from cover to cover. I also read veiled eyes by this author and felt the same way. I'm going to find another book by the same author. Highly recommend this book.

Disembodied bones. I have now read most of the books by this author and have enjoyed them all. I particularly liked the Lake People books as well as the Moon Trilogy books. There is suspense, mystery, romance and supernatural elements tied together in enjoyable stories. I'm even going to find a book of riddles because I became entranced by them from this book.
