The tin solder. This book was very interesting because this tells me if you are in a situation like the tin soldier's went through, you can think in a positively to keep going to survive. It doesn't matter the obstacles you have in front of you. You can do it!

Sad. What a horrid story. The entire 15 pages were depressing and seemed to have the message that you shouldn't wish for anything in life. It's an interesting quick read for fans of old stories, but not one I'll be likely to read to my daughter.

Wow!. This book is a short, beautiful, hopelessly romantic little love story. Unfortunately its a complete downer in the end. Overall, good read for older kids, to sad and confusing for young ones.

Short story. It is a nice story and I would love to read this book to my little nephew someday.

I would read this book again it has no words to describe how good it is probably good for around 3-5 depending on the imagination but every one has a great imagination here is some of a part true partly made from imagination. Give it up I twisted pinkalicious da da da da Pinkalicious Once upon a time there was a little girl named pinkalicious. She loved the color pink. It was her favorite. One day her mom said lets make cupcakes. Pinkalicious said I would love to! What kind of cupcakes should we make pinkalicious. She said pink of course what else! Well I suppose we can do that her mom said. How many her mom said. One thousand pinkalicious said. Her mom said a little less than that. How about ten that should be enough cupcakes. No! More. I want more. Ok a few more her mom said. Hey you steped in poop Evan. Unicorn poop gross! Should we put a cherry on the cupcakes! That would be fun because I love cherries. They are yummy. What type of cup on the cupcakes. Pink ones said pinkalicious. Also let me guess pink frosting. Can my best friend purpleicous help frost the cupcakes. Why not. that would be fun. Her mom said fine. When the two girls got back they each got six cupcakes and then purpleicous went home the very next day pinkalicious turned pink oh no. I think she is sick what about you. The next day they went to the ice cream shop and pinkalicious ordered a ice cream that was not pink and she ate it and turned back to normal she was so happy every thing was back to normal she ate every little bit of the ice cream and lived happily ever after

Cool. The book is so good but at the end it is so sad

Not impressive... This was an ok story, I could see how it would of entertained kids at the turn of the century, but my kids were not so impressed.

Tin soldier. Beautiful old story!

The original; not doctored. ... but kind of sad in the ending; glad I read it on my own first instead of having first read it to the children. Sad-ending tale with a useful moral I might understand; this one's, though, seems to be "bad things happen to good people for no reason whatsoever", so I'd rather my children instead listen to anything in the very large audio library put out by Jim Weiss - those are also classics, AND fun.

So sad. This was such a sad story. I read it to my four year old and she cried! She is a little dancer and the burning toys made her so upset especially when the dancer died! They need to have a better description on the iBook store.

A very sad story. I love this story of how a tin solider was in love with a little dancer.

No real pictures.. This is poorly formatted and lacks pictures to describe the story! Something that is I,portant for younger kids.
