Boring. Never again.

Amazing!. She is one of my favorite authors. This whole series is absolutely amazing and this book does not disappoint. Once you start reading it you won't be able to put it down. Highly recommended! <3

love it!. The first night I stayed up until 5 am, reading until I couldn't read anymore. I love this series. Every book is amazing and thisone takes the cake.

New York to Dallas. I have read all the " In Death Books" and I would say this is one of the best books if you know some or all of them. It really ties up loose ends from the first few. I have always wondered about Eve's early life and this tells you the answers. I really loved this book and would recommend it.

OMG she amazes me!. This one broke my heart but what a journey. The ID series just keeps getting better and better. Eve needed to close the door on her parents and what else could her mother be but a monster. I like the name of Monster Slayer for her, she’s so the opposite side of her screwed up DNA. Gives the rest of us hope.

Good book. If we could all be as lucky as Eve and find a man as good as hers. It was a good book and a nice addition to the series.

Great book!. I have to say that I enjoyed this book more than the last few. I felt that the death series were getting old. I had enjoyed the first set of books, but have been dissatisfied with the last few. This book is suspenseful and the story line keeps you guessing. Must read!

New York to Dallas. Loved this book! J.D. Robb is back and better than ever in her last two books. It's always interesting to see Eve return to her past and come face-to-face with the emotions triggered by encountering those demons. The love between Eve and Roarke is inspiring.

Out of this world. I love the "In Death" series. Great story lines and character. Always find myself laughing at one of characters about something. This series is the best I've come across so far. Robb makes you a page turner and always wanting for the next book.

Dallas/Roarke are Back!. Excellent-couldn't put it down.

New york to Dallas. Excellent book! A real page turner! The relationship between Eve and Roarke was very deep and loving. Love how the cat saved her life in the story! Eve worked out the difficulty she battled concerning her childhood. Her husband was always at her side through the process. Continuing to be an outstanding cop and doing her job well even though she had to face her Mother and her Mother's death was brought out well in the story. Concern for the victims and saving their lives was what seem to drive Eve to stop the horrible MacQueen from continuing his horrible sick addiction. Enjoyed this book! Thanks, J. d. Robb!

From New York to Dallas. Excellent from beginning to end in the true JD Robb fashion. I can never get enough of Eve and Roarke and their beautiful stories of love, mystery and intrigue.

New York to Dallas. Another great book! I gave it 4 out 5 stars, because I felt that Roarke didn't get to be the full Roarke we know and love. It's just as important for Roarke to be R-O-A-R-K-E, as it is for Eve to be E-V-E. Still a great read.

Can't Get Enough!. I've read/listened to all of her books; some of them several times. I look forward to each release, and this book did not disappoint. Erickson does an amazing job with each character and I hope that Roberts continues to use her to read her books. I listened to one version read by another reader and it wasn't the same. New York to Dallas was one of Roberts' best so far and I cannot wait to see what is in store for Eve and Roark next. Also, it was nice to see Galahad has not lost his touch. My *only* critique was that I wished Peabody was more in the forefront of this story, although I understand why it needed to be more about Eve and Roark.

Awesome as usual!. JD Robb paints a story like no one else. You see, hear and smell what is going on. Unlike past stories, this one is where Eve comes face to face with her mother and learns what happened to her as a child and why. Her perp is a man who forces her to re-live what her father did to her and who keeps the reader on the edge until the very end. He is a thoroughly despicable animal who preys on young girls and does horrible things to them. The battle between them leaves you wondering if Eve has finally met her match.

Best one yet. I'm a huge fan of this series and have read every book. This one is the best yet. I thought the past couple of books were kind of slow and that the end was near, but New York to Dallas was fantastic!

Excellent, as always ~. I can never get enough of Eve and Roarke. The way J.D. Robb molds their relationship, their banter, their hilarious sarcastic snipes at each other and the world in general, and especially their sexy moments together is always hugely entertaining. Each new book is like sitting down with a group of my very best friends that I have greatly missed since the last time I saw them (in the previous book). Sometimes, when I get Robb's most recent book, I'll sit on it for a few days and just savor and anticipate the fact that I have it here to read at my leisure. I will HUGELY procrastinate reading it because I know once I sit down with the book, I will read it from cover to cover in one session, simply because I am unable to put the book down once I've started ~ and then I have to wait to meet up with my friends again for another 6 more long months. That's the bittersweet part. But the book itself, this one in particular, was a real humdinger. Eve's mom is finally brought into the mix, and the highly charged, emotionally fragile Eve appears ~ but doesn't stay long. With Roarke's help, Eve uses her deep seated, brutally painful memories to make her strong, keep her strong, and get the job done. I love how Robb so eloquently builds up the complex natures and characteristics of each of the players ~ because we can ALL relate at some point, and in the end the reader's soul has been cleansed and reinvigorated. "The Unquiet" is another brilliant installment of the "In Death" series, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just wish she would write a book a week! A really fabulous read! Highly recommended ~ as usual.

Great read!!!. As always, Eve does her thing in style and with great determination. This book clears up a lot of her past history and I believe she will be better with that final closure! Excellent...can't wait for the next one!!!!

Loved it!. This is arguably the best book in this series. It definitely hit some very deep issues for Eve and I love how JD Robb pulled it all together. I highly recommend this book to anyone whose a fan of this series.

Ties so many things together!. She does an excellent job of keeping you interested and wanting to hear more! You can read just one book and you will be addicted and have to read them all! Can't wait for the next one...

New York to Dallas. Once again,JD Robb has managed to take the familiar and still put a new twist to a great story. Same cast of characters that have evolved from the other books in this and even a familiar storyline but enough new twists and turns to keep you intrigued to the last page. Good comfortable read.

Best of the Series - So Far. This is the most character-driven of the Eve Dallas books in quite a while, really focusing on Eve, Roarke, and the past coming full circle. I didn't count pages, but it seems, too, like the longest book in the series, and reads visually - you can almost picture it as a movie. I read these books while traveling for business; they're great company in hotel rooms and airports. And while I'm not generally a huge fan of Nora Dodd's books, "JD Robb" is highly entertaining. Thanks for an action- packed ride, and I hope to be reading the next Eve Dallas book soon, though New York to Dallas will be a tough case to follow.
