Great book. This was a great book for a child about 5-8 years old about a bunny that takes a adventure.

Great but short. The book was a good bedtime read l, although some pictures were before the text so it was a bit of spoiler.

wasn't what I expected... I thought this was a children's book. when is it ever okay to discuss tobacco and whipping with switches with children. wasn't what I was expecting to read to my daughter at all.

Sweet children's story!. I remember hearing this read aloud on a record player as a child. My mother bought me the book & she'd read it aloud to me also. We later visited Potter's village in England. This brings back happy memories.

Love this book. I have always loved this sequel to Peter Rabbit! It is such a classic! I can read it over and over.

Disgusting. How disgusting it is to read aloud a story of bunnies to a 5 year old where Dads carry switches to whip their errant young ones!

Papa bunny carries a switch. I love this story and the fact that papa bunny carries a switch made me laugh out loud.

Nostalgic. I remember watching the animated shorts of her stories when I was younger, I still enjoy them as much now as I did then. Short but sweet, these are timeless stories for children to enjoy, and the artistic presentation of the pictures are as beutiful as ever.

we just like it. very enjoyable audio book

Good but hard to explain parts. Has tobacco (lavender) the rabbits eat, and Mr Bunny ‘taking a switch to his nephew’ (a belt whip)... is a bit hard to explain when those where more common to do in the 50s, Otherwise, a nice illustrated story.

Editor needed for eBooks?. As I continue to read eBooks, I find more and more mistakes, especially in the associated write-up about the author...in this case. I've been reading all sorts of novels, educational info, children's books and the like and have noticed considerable misspellings and incorrect wording as if these eBooks were typed with an auto-correcting iPhone! Where is the Quality Control? As for this book, it is marvelously written and wonderfully, not to mention painstakingly, illustrated...

Poor Peter. The story is reallly interesting. It is very good for kids. It has suspense and is illustrated very nicely. The author plays with the emotions with such a grace. It has great impact on reader while reading the story when rabbits try to sneak in and out the garden.

A great story. Classic Beatrix Potter story. Nicely presented with colorful drawings and read aloud with highlighted text so your kids can follow the text as it is narrated. My two year old loves to hear this story and its nice to see her enjoy a book I grew up with.

I love this book. This is one of the first books in many days i have read. I really like this book because it's a cute little tail and I am really into this I definitely give this book 5 out of five i wish i could give it 1 million 1 million stars. Peter and Benjamin are cool:). Peter and Benjamin we're going outside walking in the garden of mr. Mcgregors and the father of Benjamin spanked Peter and Benjamin with a stick. Rabbit mom is glad that Peter found his shoes and clothes. I like the cat and the rabbits Peter and Benjamin. Very good read the whole book and tell other people about the book!!!^_^

G'nite, sleep tite!. What a sweet bedtime story! I just read it to the boys and 2/3 of them fell fast asleep. The oldest remarked at what a good bedtime story it was. Now he is fast asleep aswell. Love Beatrix Potter books, I grew up with them myself. So this, to me, would be considered a 'Classic'.
