Fun short story suitable for children. But not childish. I will see what else she has written.

Not enough "there" there. This felt like the first 75 pages of a book that hasn't been (and apparently won't be) written. There's the beginning of some decent world-building, with a feline vice hominid culture, that I would like to read more about... but this barely-novella length work is barely long enough to make it disappoints when it ends. If it were worse I'd probably have given it a third star. The author's imagination is good enough, and her writing skillful enough, that my disappointment in "Leaping Lizards" is that much greater.

Quick sci-fi romp. An enjoyable story about two young aliens facing down a series of minor crises.

Good, but too short. The story was good. It just seemed too short to really stand alone.
