Cartel is a must read. This book brings forward one of the most critical issues of our time. I highly recommend you read it prior to election day!
Excellent read!. Just after putting down The Last Narco I picked up Cartel. Being active duty military in San Diego we used to be allowed liberty passes into TJ. In recent years we have been denied access. After reading Cartel I now have a full understanding and appreciation for just how dangerous things have become down there. Greg book and riveting read. It blows my mind how much the cartel operations north of the border touch my daily life.
Cartel. This book is not written in good documentary or history presentation style, but rather in casual, journalistic style, and the author's opinions often creep into the text. Having said that, it does cover the subject fairly completely. I just wish it had been better written.
