Download issues. Please let me know how to fix this download issue - I have 3 books stuck in pause and can't get them to download but you have deducted the money for each of them. What do I need to do?

Private games won't download.. I, too, have had the same problem as most of the other posts have mentioned. I see that one person has had help in resolving the problem. I would like to know what to do next so I can either get the book downloaded or have my money returned. I am nervous about purchasing anymore iBooks until the matter is resolved. Please help.

Meh. I gotta say, this book was pretty dumb. It was not as good as the first two. I think I'll stop here. Really? Lightening hitting the Leatherman? Really? Sigh.

Do not buy. Not one of James Patterson's best books.

Read DURING London 2012!. Was fun to read during the Games...great research and 'Private London' intro added a twist.

Pre-Order Blues. Like the others below, I pre-ordered Private Games and cannot download it. When you follow the instructions to download you get stuck in an endless circle. This is the second pre-order that I have had this same problem. How do I get a refund?

Terrible. Having read and enjoyed every Patterson book published, I found this one horrible. The only thing reminiscent of Patterson was quick chapters. I didn't care about the characters and thought the whole premise amateurish and not thought out. Goes to show that Patterson is a style and not every co author has what it takes. Waste of time and money. Characters were flat. Ending was easily figured out too early. Didn't flow.

Private Games. What a convoluted hot mess!!! Shallow, over dramatic characters with not even a hint at realism....This is the first Patterson book I have hated. Keep epilogue ....and rewrite the whole book.

Poor. I will no longer purchase books for my iPad. I preordered and when it came, you promptly charged my account but it will not download. Good Story, but New Characters. This is an interesting well plotted story typical of all of the Patterson output with his different co-authors. However, if you were planning to find the folks from the previous novels in the Private series, all you will find is a cameo by Jack..

Not quite as good. Having read all of James Patterson's novels, and found them to be very well written and a good read, I guess he is allowed an occasional lemon. The fact that his books, in the "e-book" form, cost almost as much as his hardback editions, is disgusting and a ripoff.

Private Games. Apparently, some people had a problem down loading this book. They were lucky. This was awful! I've read virtually all of Patterson's books. Perhaps he's become too prolific with too many partners. But, this might be the exceptional bad book. Hope so.

Thanx to the reviewers. Luckily I read the reviews. I did not attempt to download this book for fear of being ripped off. Lately, Pattersons books have been pretty predictable anyway. Thanks to those of you that saved me a few bucks.

Private Games. This James Patterson book was just okay. It starts out slowly but as you continue to read you do want to find out how he kills Cronus. Not one of his best but might be interesting to read about his new love interest and how that all works out. Continue the Private series in the US with Jack and the other characters, more interesting.

Amateur ending. This was a decent book ruined by an ending that a sixth grader would think up. Will make me wary of future Books in the Private series.

Wondering/Nervous this book will be another "Alex Cross's Trial"!!!. So while reading the "Alex Cross" Series, I got to the book- "Alex Cross's Trial"! And after forcing myself to finish it!! I then had to make myself continue on with finishing the rest of the series!!! Because of how awfully was!!! Maybe it was just because of the writer that Patterson partnered up with for this book!! But whatever it was, I was extremely disappointed!!! And now reading the private series, just by the title and the reviews I've read about "Private Games"! I'm concerned that I'll be wasting my time reading it!!! Cause I've got the gut feeling that it's going to be awful!!!
