AMAZING, READ IT NOW!!!!! (Please read, if you don’t mind spoilers/already read the book). There are no words to describe how awesome this book is. Whenever a situation comes up, you can feel the emotions as if you were in the situation yourself. I ship SoKeefe, and if you ship Sophitz, you are a NO-BRAINER. JK, but if you do ship Sophitz, please change your ship to SoKeefe!!! This book is about twelve-year-old Sophie Foster, living in San Diego. Sophie is not your average teen—she has a photographic memory, skipped multiple grades, and can hear people’s thoughts. She can’t block them. It’s like a hundred TVs blaring loud noise at the same time—it’s stressful, confusing, and gives her a headache. It started when she was five years old, when she hit her head and woke up in the hospital. She doesn’t know how to describe it to anyone. She’s an outcast, a freak...until she meets Fitz, a (cute) boy who can also read minds. He shows her the truth: she’s an elf, and she doesn’t belong in San Diego. Before long, Sophie is forced to leave her family behind and start a new life in the Lost Cities, the world where elves live. She meets new, supportive friends and is placed with a kind family who lost their biological daughter, but she knows she will always be different, for many reasons. 1) Her eyes are brown, unlike all the other elves’ blue eyes. 2) She doesn’t know who her true parents are. 3) She manifested her telepathy at such a young age. SHANNON MESSENGER IS A GENIUS. This series is by far one of my favorites EVER. That’s saying something cause I’m the biggest bookworm i know. This book is kinda slow to start but once you hit book 3 or 4 you won’t want to put the book down. This book helped me realize who sad our world is. I have reread this book 4 times!! I love the series so much I’ve locked myself in my room so my parents had to ground me from reading! Who does that!? This book can capture the attention of even boys. With strong characters and clean content this book is great for 8 and up. The more you get reading the higher the age level I would suggest (sorry I know that was written weirdly). Great book! Recommended!. I have been reading this book for 2 days and I am done with it. This book hooked me into the series and I can’t wait to read book 2, 3, 4…. Yeah, you get it. At school a while ago, I saw the 4th book on a girl’s desk. She talked about Keeper of the Lost Cities literally all the time and it sounded like a fine book. She wrote mini stories about it, argued playfully about Fitz or Keefe, and I thought: “This sounds like a good book.” (I was unsure because I was on the sixth series, 5th book of the Warriors series and I couldn’t imagine reading something different.) I checked it out from the library 2 days ago and I read the book faster than anything!!! I 😍 this book! (DONT JUDGE….. Sophie and Dex all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!)

If you ship fitzphie then finish the series first!. MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T FINISHED KOTLC! I like Fitz and all (Sometimes) But if he and Sophie got into a relationship then I feel like Fitz would be the emotionally abusive boyfriend because if you’ve seen him during the books, he yelled at Sophie for things she couldn’t help and that’s why I ship her with keefe. Keefe supports her through everything and she always comes to him for advice to because she feels comfortable with him. SOKEEFE 4 EVAAAAAA!!!

Best book series. I love these books so much because they just get me. sophie kinda gets me in a way most people don’t. I am really rooting for an lgbtq main character relationship, but that probably won’t happen. 😭🏳️‍🌈 i am lgbtq and i really want that to be represented in the books. mostly repping dex and fitz! overall i really love these books and i’m excited for the next one to come out!

Uhhhhhhhmmmmmm…………….WHY ARE YOU COPYING BLUEY???. WHY ARE YOU COPYING BLUEY????? “Kotlc” follows a very similar plot line to popular children’s show, Bluey. As kotlc is directed towards a different age range than Bluey, it can be easy to miss. But both show and book include a young girl with two parents that has a lot of friends and fights extremely dangerous evil forces (e.g. the Neverseen, Duke SockSweat.) I don’t understand why Sharon Messenger didn’t come up with a more original idea. Plus, Bluey is depicted as an elf in the episode “Christmas Toy Shop Bus Stop.” Sophie is also depicted as an elf. This is obvious plagiarism and I do not support plagiarism. Honestly. #JusticeForBluey 😩😒😑😫😖😣

Best Series Ever. I think this may be the book that dedicated me to writing. I mean, I'm just in 5th grade, but I have two books soon to be published. This book series has the best cliffhangers EVER. Omg. I always wake up at like, 5 am on the release dates to start reading it on my kindle, that's how interesting they are.

Oh yeah. The Plot of this hole series is really good. I’ve gotten two of my friends to read it and we are all in the Foster Fan club. I’ve also met a kid at my church who is reading it too. I really like the love triangle in this series mainly because Sophie keeps her crush secret for so long. Which usually happens in real life and I love her relationships with her friends. I will say I’m not a big fan of overpowered girls in books or just overpowered characters. But Sophie acknowledges that she is overpowered and she also needs her friends to help her otherwise she would be a Neverseen prisoner. Also the rivalry between Keefe and Tam is really funny. And one of my favorite characters isn’t even an elf because we all love Ro. Seriously Ro is the best character I love her commentary about Sokeefe and Fitzphie. And one thing that sticks out in this series is it’s not repetitive. Lots of book series get repetitive but KOTLC doesn’t. The most repetitive thing is the cliffhanger endings I mean the Stellarlune one was very hard and Unlocked and the majority of the series (hehe). But if you are looking for a book series this one is really good. Can’t wait for Unknown book 10 (seriously I’m dying waiting for it and I already have to wait for The Balled of Songbirds and snake movie and the Percy Jackson show) Foster-Keefe Fan > out

Best series ever!!!!!. I cannot stop reading this series I have read all of the books at least four times and I just started it this spring. This series is great for girls and boys alike all of my siblings love it so much I’m so glad that we found this series I can’t get enough of it. Here’s a summary without spoilers for you guys: Sophie foster is a 12 year old high school senior who has been able to read minds since she was five, but she has no idea why. When she finds a mysterious (and good looking) boy who is also a telepath, she slowly realizes that she isn’t human. She is an elf. IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SANTA STORY. THEY ARE NOT LIKE SANTA’S ELVES AT ALL DONT EVEN GO THERE. THEY ARE CLOSER TO TOLKIEN ELVES BUT NOT EVEN THOSE THEY ARE BASICALLY HUMANS WITH SPECIAL POWERS. anyway, Sophie stays with the elves and starts to do stuff like go to school, etc. It’s kinda one disaster after another for her but eventually she finds a secret about herself that she doesn’t really understand, but neither do others. And some people would do anything for that information Sophie has... Spoilers beyond this point! Ok everyone was like oh this is great for 9 year olds. I disagree. This is a thick book. I read it in eight grade. There was also some intense parts that 3rd graders aren’t ready for. I recommend ages 12 and up. Ever since book one my favorite character has been Elwin. It will never change Elwin is my all time favorite he’s so funny and caring. I love this one because Elwin is in it a whole lot. This is my second favorite out of the whole series it’s really good. I still can’t sleep without my stuffed animal I’m 14 and I’m proud of it! Elwin sand I could start a stuffed animal club I probably have more stuffies than him :) I highly recommend this series it’s my favorite series in the world it has action drama adventure humor and everything else a good series needs. P. S. Everyone loves to loudly proclaim who they ship I ship no one Sophie please stay single yes I’ve read the whole series. I used to ship sofitz (I did in this book so if you do I don’t blame you) but after legacy I drew a line. But I could never ship keefe so don’t get any ideas. The dexphie boat sunk in just leaving it at that. Sophie stay single! Hey, that’s a good chant! Sophie Stay Single! Sophie Stay Single!

Keeper of the lost city 🌃. I love ❤️ this book so much because of the adventure , depth and detail. Sophie has so many unique features and so many supportive friends who are with her the whole journey. She also makes a new one who turns out to be one of the only girls who she makes friends with. Keefe is her friend who is always saying she is mysterious so a pretty annoying friend. She has enemies, Stina , and best friend crushes❤️🥺🥰🤩😍😅🥲☺️😊 Fitz. My review. Note: The first part is how I found out about the book. If you want to skip it, scroll down a bit. This book is great. When I was eight years old, I started reading it. I got busy with school for a while(and a new little brother), so I kind of forgot about it. When I was 12, I was helping my mom in the kitchen. She said “Rosy and Lucy are interested in a new book called Keeper of the Lost Cities. You read that, didn’t you. Would you recommend it?”. I told her I forgot about it but I read it again. Rosy was nine and Lucy was six. When my little brother and baby brother were sleeping, I got the book. So that’s how I ended up reading the book. A year later, I had finished the whole series and read the newest book. I loved it. I started reading it to Rosy and Lucy. I think it is a great book. It is like Harry Potter but also a little different. Here is my summary of the first book. A twelve year old girl named Sophie Foster has always been different from her classmates…and family. She is twelve years old and a high school senior. But when an elf shows up, she learns her life is a lie. She leaves everything behind and starts a new, and soon dangerous life. This is also not a Santa’s helper story. Here is what parents should know: There is violence in this book. Sophie is kidnapped(and almost killed) but any kid over eight should be able to handle it. Make sure your kids(or siblings, nieces, nephews, grandkids, etc) are okay with this. The series does get more mature as it goes on(there is some dating) but it is the type that will be seen in many middle grade books. That’s about it. I would recommend reading this book, but if you or your kids get nervous easily, maybe wait. My little sister Lucy got nervous easily, and I did have to talk to her afterwards, telling her that it was fiction. But it wasn’t that bad, Lucy just gets nervous easily. This is totally a five star book.

Yikes. so everyone’s sorta fighting for either Keefe or Fitz….on the one hand, this is a book. The first guy usually comes out the victor. So that would be Fitz. She met him first. On the other hand, in the later books Shannon dives much deeper into Keefe, giving us his POV. Why would she do that if they weren’t gonna end up together? So I like Keefe better than Fitz but I don’t know if he’d go as well with Sophie. I think Shannon’s gonna go with Keefe, though. —BreadLoverClem

Oh my gooood. This book is literally the best thing I have ever read! I am absolutely obsessed with Keefe (I wish he was real😍) I recommend Keeper to anyone who likes Harry Potter. The two series are similar in society but Keeper is SO much better. But the best part about this series is the fandom. The arguments about Sophitz vs Sokeefe and utterly hilarious.

…... This is hands down the best book series I’ve EVER read! Them Foster-Keefe for life! Keefe is just:😍🥹🥵. These are Fantasy, romance a little, partly action, WELL WRITTEN, GREAT PLOT! Not cheesy AT ALLLLL. I’m obsessed 😍. I’m over halfway through flashback (book 7th). I read book 2 in 4 days. The 3rd in 4 days. The 4th in 4 days and the 5th and 6th. (I would be done with the 7th already but I’m moving). That just shows you how good these books are;) they are amazing not exaggerating. I’ve never read Harry Potter but every seems to say it’s better. Try these. YOU WONT REGRET IT! Thanks Shannon!

BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!. You MUST read this book!!! It is one of the BEST books I have EVER READ!! And that is saying something something because I don’t read much!! This book has a mix of mystery romance suspense and A TON of plot twists!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!! ( if your into that kind of stuff ) but even if you don’t like any of that stuff it is still a AWSOME BOOK!!! And you should still give it a try and maybe you will like it lol!! When you read this book it is almost like Shannon has pulled you into a new wonderful world and you can’t stop reading!!! Amazing book. I love this book! A friend suggested it to me a few years ago and I read it 4 times! It never got old I just read it to my sister and we would stay up all night reading and talking about it. I told my cousin about it and she couldn’t put it down I got 3 of my friends to read it and they loved it. So it’s obviously a great book. It’s easy to read but has deep concepts. It really made me look at reality differently. I highly suggest this book to any age kid teen adult and senior.

The best series I’ve ever read!!. I’m a very big bookworm so this was the perfect series for me. All the books are very lengthy and has an awesome plot and cliffhangers!! I love the characters and as a fantasy reader this has all the fantasy i love. I’ve reread it 4 times and also convinced my sister to read it and she absolutely loves it! I would recommend it to anybody of any age even tho it’s for kids. I absolutely ❤️ it!!
