The Meeting Place. Loved the historical background. The characters brought to life very personal feelings about the events of the time. I can imagine the conflicting emotions of the settlers of the "New Wold" as they sought to forge a new identity.
The Beloved Land (Song of Acadia Book#5). I have read all books in the contining saga and enjoyed the story in 5 days. Five books on my Kindle Reader. Janette Oke is one of my favorite writers. This one was apparently co-laborated with T. Davis Bunn. Both excellent authors, bringing the story to this reader.
French and British. Great story about how two ladies meeting,their daughters, and family members
Arcadia series. Great books have throughly enjoyed reading all 5 books. It was great that that the writers keep all the characters going through out all the books which you don't find often in series books. I would recommend these books. Good reading.
