Good book. My kids loved this book it is very good for children to hear because it shows that even if you have some flaws you are beautiful in your own way.

Daughter thinks it’s a good story. The reviews were pretty harsh, so I held off on getting this book. But, my persistent daughter insisted, so we read it. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be, and she enjoyed it. That’s all that matters. From my daughter: I give it 100 stars even though there are only five stars there.

Ultimate message falls flat. Poor punctuation and poor story. Shouldn’t the outcome be that color (outside appearances) don’t matter? Instead, the author concludes “at least you’re not purple”.

Purple turtle. Well I'm glad I didn't pay for this book, it's so boring and rambles on to the point my 6yo asked what was going on. I see the books point and message but by the time you have finished you kind of lose track about the overall message
