Masterful. Another masterfully written tale. Very well done Patricia.

A rave review!. This was at least as good as the author's other novels -- and that means great! Strong character development, a fascinating plot, and all the excitement of a suspense novel. Although not irrelevant that the storyline involves magical creatures, relationships are drawn so finely that they could transcend genres. A compelling read!!!

Fun!!!. I curled up on a rainy day and devoured this book. This is an intriguing love story between an alpha and omega...Easy to read, with a hint of "who-done-it."

Love it. Patricia Briggs has done it again I could not put the book down.

Price too high. Ebooks cost less to print and ship. Who is making the extra money when they charge so much for a digital copy?

Very nice. I absolutely love this series! While I am also hooked on the Mercy Thompson series the stories with Charles and Anna are mesmerizing. I really love their dynamic. Charles’ sly sense of humor gets me every time!! And Patricia Briggs does an amazing job of humanizing Charles from just being a cold blooded assassin. That the broken and violated have someone that makes them feel safe, and you can really believe that someone like Anna can love and understand him!!!

Wow!. Loved it!!!! Patricia Briggs is the author that you can read her books over and over and still find them as exciting as the very first time you read them. I am a huge fan of all her books but I think the Alpha & Omega series is my favorite.

Omg. I just finished reading the book. It was amazing and I can't wait to see how the ending shapes the rest of the series. I am in complete shock.

Just OK.. Charles spends the whole time in this book fighting his own nature, and blaming himself for enforcing werewolf law. The self recrimination went on for almost the entire book. I loved the ending, but getting there was a boring process.

My favorite series!. Patricia Briggs is a master storyteller, and this is yet another example of that. Wonderful!

AWESOME!. I had a hard time putting this book down at 1am...just like all the other books in the series.

Riveting. This book had it all: murder, romance, interacting of species. It was amazing!

Awesome.... This is an awesome book that will have you from page one. I do recommend that the previous books in the Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs be read first. The back story helps everything make more sense. While you are at it read the Mercy Thompson series as well. The stories parallel each other.

Best book I've read in 5 years!!!!. The first half of the book was great! The second half kept getting better the ending was a complete surprise! This series keeps getting better than the Mercedes Thompson side of her writing. Can't wait for the next one to see were the story line goes!

Wow I sooo want to know what's next for Anna and Charles. It is soo good

Fantastic!!!. This, as all other Briggs books was fantastic. I can't wait for the next installment!

The Rabbit Gets Some Teeth. If you've been reading the Alpha & Omega stories from the beginning, you'll get the joke, if not, you should start at the beginning. It’s been not quite two years since Charles and Anna were married, and their wolves mated. It's also been about a year and and a half since the werewolves “outed” themselves, the Fae have been out for about 20 years. Now that the world knows about werewolves, some of the rules have changed. Where as before if a young wolf briefly lost control, or had an accident they would be punished, but generally given a chance to get it together before they were killed. Now however there were no second chances, and Charles was busy as his Father’s enforcer. This was starting to wear on him and affect him badly - he began to feel that he was no longer his father’s arm of justice, he was simply his father’s killer, and the ghosts of those he’d killed had begun to follow him and feed on his guilt. Anna notices that Charles is having trouble and tries to talk to Bran about it, which turns into and interesting “fight” - no violence, but boy it rather annoys Bran, that Anna is able to stand up to him - no one has been able to do that for many, many years (and Bran is very, very old, over 1,200 years…) To help give Charles a break and to get Anna out of his hair, Bran sends them to Boston, to help the FBI with a serial killer investigation. He would normally send Adam - Alpha of the Tri-Cities pack, but his mate Mercy - yes that Mercy - is recovering from injuries and he can’t make it. The werewolves are getting involved, because the last three victims of the serial killer were werewolves, and the killings seem to have an occult feel to them. Once there, they realize that quite a few of the serial killer’s victims have been fae, rather than human. It seems that someone is targeting the preternatural. Charles and Anna, with the help of the FBI and the father of the latest victim, a very powerful fae, rescue her from the clutches of the serial killer. In the process though Anna becomes a target, and Charles sinks farther into his funk. When Anna is taken by the killer, the FBI, the father and an old wish help Charles find Anna, and rescue her. Although she may not have needed rescuing, after all - or at least she was more trouble than the killer thought - Omega does not mean weak, or submissive after all. After the rescue, the story isn't over yet, and the ending is rather surprising, and will make for some interesting stories in both this series and the Mercy series in the years to come. Maybe the natural and preternatural worlds can’t live together after all, but will it be them or us?

Fair Game. The third Alpha and Omega novel has a suspenseful story at its core, but Briggs also provides quieter moments so her characters can breathe. After having to kill several werewolves, Charles is beginning to crumble mentally; he's seeing ghosts and starting to give in to his bloodthirsty instincts. So he and Anna are sent to Boston on a special mission -- assist the FBI on a serial-killer case that has lasted decades. The killer initially had a straightforward pattern (Asian teenagers), but began including werewolves and fae. Each one was carved with witch symbols, raped, and finally murdered. Now the human daughter of a high-ranking fae has been kidnapped, and the FBI/werewolf team has only hours to find her. But the case becomes particularly strange when they discover that a long-dead witch and a bizarre kind of fae may be involved in it. And unless they figure out who the killers are fast, Anna will be their next target. As with the two prior books in this series, the characterization and story world are amazing. The story is dangerous and exciting to read. I particularly enjoy the completeness of the story. This series fills in some background holes in the Mercy Thompson series...world events that impacted that series but were not explained in detail. In this story...the retreat of the Fae to reservations is explained. As with the other stories in this series, the love relationship between Anna and her Charles provides the heart of the story. It's extremely well done, and is a series that definitely should not be missed! "Fair Game" tries to tackle a lot of heavy topics -- prejudice, the cost of killing, and the way normal humans would see the "monsters."

Loved it!. Great story

FAIR GAME. To borrow the first word of this book's title ~ it was a 'fair' read. The basic plot was interesting ~ but there were too many sub plots interwoven to make it 'frustrating' . This story would have been better received by me if it had less filler ~ just used to fill pages.

Awesome book by Briggs as usual. A great read! I still prefer Mercy as my heroine of choice, but Anna is quickly catching up.

Fair Game. Good Book. Can't wait for the next.

Fair Game. I so enjoyed reading this new book and all of this series. Brenda

Fair Game. This book has kept me up for several nights, wanting to know what happens next !!!!!!!! If you like excitement in a book, read it !!!!! It is a fast paced book loaded with twists and turns. I wish Patricia Briggs wouldn't take so long in writing her books. I am ready for the NEXT ONE !!!!!! Please, hurry as you possibly can !!!!!! Robert Gaddis

Good book!. I loved the story. Can't wait to see how it will tie into the end of River Marked...

Awesome. I love Patricia Briggs, but this is my favorite series.

Awesome. Wonderful series that keeps evolving and reaching the readers imaginations . Mrs briggs does more than write an entertaining story but begs the reader to ask what would I think ? What would I do? Would I have the courage to stand up to injustice? Very enjoyable.... Very thought provoking....Cant wait for the next book!!

Fair Game. Love all of Patricia Briggs books, but I especially like this series as well as all of Mercy's books. Get read just remember to read the other books in the series first... That way you will enjoy it better!! :)

Sham Wow!!!. Patricia Briggs scores a grand slam with this one...can't wait for more!!!

Fair Game. Wonderfully written. A page turner I. The continuing story of Anna and Charles

Wonderful. I enjoy the Alpha and Omega Series. It was a great addition to the series. The ending was a complete shock. I can't wait for the next book.

Great book again by Briggs!. I have long been a fan of the alpha & omega series and have patiently awaiting for another. I also love the Mercy Thompson series but something about Anna and Charles's relationship appeals to me in a way that the other series does not. This book brings new and interesting things from the couple and even though it is set several years after the last book, which seem to be in check with the Thompson series, I seemed to be initially upset about missing part of their story but then understood that nothing exciting happened during that time except just prior to the start of the story. Overall, fantastic! Only sorry I finished it in a day. Can't wait for another in this series.
