Boring. Compared to Lions of Kandahar I found this book rather boring!
Thin,one whole story. This is a really thin rad, where the writer takes any itty bitty thing and expands it to 3-4 pages to fill the pages of this book. You keep waiting of something but it's page and page of inane blather, culminating to ONE boring battle, stretched out to fill the end 1/3 of book. Of course the writer, a sergeant, tries to pull of like he is the wise warrior, smarter than all of the superiors and fellow warriors. Really disappointing, writer credentials are suspect.
