Hana by Lauren Oliver Book Summary

Lauren Oliver's riveting, original digital story set in the world of her New York Times bestseller Delirium.

The summer before they're supposed to be cured of the ability to love, best friends Lena and Hana begin to drift apart. While Lena shies away from underground music and parties with boys, Hana jumps at her last chance to experience the forbidden. For her, the summer is full of wild music, dancing—and even her first kiss.

But on the surface, Hana must be a model of perfect behavior. She meets her approved match, Fred Hargrove, and glimpses the safe, comfortable life she’ll have with him once they marry. As the date for her cure draws ever closer, Hana desperately misses Lena, wonders how it feels to truly be in love, and is simultaneously terrified of rebelling and of falling into line.

In this digital story that will appeal to fans of Delirium and welcome new admirers to its world, readers will come to understand scenes from Delirium through Hana's perspective. Hana is a touching and revealing look at a life-changing and tumultuous summer.

Just what a fan needs. If you loved the book Delirium and are planning to read the next books this is a must read! It makes you feel like you know the characters on a different level. It makes the series way more fun! Plus you never know, this might be helpful later on as Hana may become a bigger part of the Delirium series. Over all amazing! Good work Lauren!

Hana. How long is the oil

Disappointed at length!. I thought this was a whole novel that would follow Hana through Delirium! So bummed! Yes I know what happens to Lena but what happens to Hana after Lena gets caught, after her cure?? Maybe she's resistant?? I want more! But I love Lauren Oliver!!

Good but short. It is a great story, but it is very short. It takes less than an hour to read, but if you love Delirium it is worth it.

N2Books. I can't believe this. I just read this after reading Delirium and Pandemonium. I could just smack Hana. Wow. What a jealous witch. I did not expect this. Makes sense though why everything happened. Shame on Hana. I wonder when Lena finds out what she did if she will ever talk to her again. Hana and Julian would be great for each other. Does Hana even realize what all she has done?? Wow!!

Great book. Great book it lets u know more about the series

?. Who ends a book like that?!?!?? Its really good but it's not that different than the first book.

Omg!!. This story ends with a twist that you kind of suspected from Delerium, but weren’t completely sure about. This story gave you Hana’s side of the story. What was Hana doing when she wasn’t around Lena? It was interesting to see her side. You love her, you become annoyed, you love her again— then GASP!! I can’t continue this review any further without giving everything away, so— This story was fantastic, and it definitely needs to be read before moving onto book two. I am LOVING this series, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Save your $2.99. Save your 2.99$.. This super short story was just not worth any money. Huge fan of the series but spoiler alert you don't learn anything earth shattering besides Hana's side of the story, really condensed (her meeting her match, kissing a boy at a party, and getting jealous of Lena and Alex, enough to maybe rat her out)

Pretty good but has its flaws. I always thought Hana was an interesting character in the Delirium trilogy. I’m currently re-reading it right now for the first time in years and while halfway through the first book decided to check out the Hana story I had bought the first I’d read the series. Maybe it’s because I’m still currently reading the first book so it’s fresh on my mind but Hana seems different in this book. I know she should because it’s from her perspective but her actions from Lena’s perspective don’t match up with the jealous vindictive thoughts from her story. I still found it an interesting expansion and I wish it could’ve been a little longer. If you want insight into Hana’s character I’d say it’s worth a read.

What? Hana is not a good friend.. I thought that this book was good but too short. I can't believe Hana. I was so disappointed when a read what she decided to do. Jealousy got the best of her and I was extremely sad . Does she know about what pain she caused Lena? Well, in the end she ended up losing lena and herself. You still should read this book though. It changes your opinion on the whole story, from Hana's perspective.overall this still is a good book and totally twists the storyline.

Hana. Short story but it gives you an idea of what Hana was up to, so I liked it.
