Memories. When my now 4 year old daughter was a baby, her abuela would sing her this song every night to calm her. It still works to this day. My 6month old son son love this song too now. Great memories. Great book! Great illustration.

Good idea - poor grammar. I am studying Spanish and it is great to have easy stories to read. However, the 2nd to the last page is grammatically incorrect.

I grew up with the song!. This is a beautiful rendition of a timeless song that many Mother’s rocked their babies to sleep with. My Colombian mother sang this to me many nights before bed. I’m definitely purchasing the book for my kids’ library.

Memories. I grew up listening to my mom, aunts, and grandmother singing this little nursery rhyme at bed time. And now I hear my mom signing it to my niece when she can't sleep. Makes me happy to see it in print.

Learned something new. Growing up my mom always only sang the first few parts of this song to me and my sisters. And now thanks to this book I know the rest and Lord willing I will teach my children this song! :D
