I Enjoy Reading This Book So Much, Great Masterpiece. All I have to say is that I enjoy the work and effort mr. Wells put into this book, I am very amazed by this brilliant and skilled writer. H.G. Wells is truly one of my favorite writers out there, great job Wells.

War of the Worlds. I have to say I enjoyed the book but would probably have enjoyed it more if I were familiar with the geography in and around London. The main character's actions revolve so much around his movements there, that such knowledge would have helped immensely. Having said that, the tale itself is marvelous and speaks very well for Mr. Wells' imagination. His vocabulary is also well developed so I was constantly using the dictionary function of the iBook reader. An easy read highly recommended for those who like to look backward to see what previous generations thought about the future. Personally I'd like to see some current writer change the ending to have the Marian's live and take the "artillery man's" idea of how the human race should survive and run with that. Could be great fun! jch

Chapters not numbered. I downloaded this for my son's school assignment. The individual assignments are based on reading specific chapters, but this version doesn't have the chapters numbered. Ended up downloading an alternate copy to eliminate the guessing.

Read this book now!. This book is amazing! H. G. Wells is an absolute genius! If you haven't read it yet, you definitely should. And if you have, read it again as many times as you want and it'll be worth it every time.

War of the Worlds. Truly a fantastic piece of literature. It's took me so long to read this book, as the films didnt really inspire me to do so even though I enjoyed them, but I should have read this many years ago. Really enjoyed this so much.

War Of The Worlds. An excellent classic from the father of Science Fiction, this edition is very simplistic and is without chapters in the table of content. Very easy to read and enjoyable to all fans of the genre

Awesome. Truly exceptional book that really needs to be read. Fantastic vocabulary used in a way rarely seen in more modern books and imagery beautifully woven into the fabric of the story. The guy is a genius!

The war of the worlds. I think this was the full original version, but it seems to be not so well written as I expected. The book itself works fine, just seems to make fairly big leaps in places. No pages missing, those story just needs a bit more to fill in a few more gaps. Text matches with the spoken words in The War of the worlds by Jeff Wayne (music).
