Waterspell book 1. The story is inconsistent with the character development. So you are continually feeling like the characters are not acting as you would expect. I would suggest that you find a different author to read.

Cliffhanger. A lot of nothing happened in this book. Irrational teen ranting and plotting that came to nothing. I didn’t really connect with the characters. One star gone for the cliffhanger ending (and I won’t be reading book two). The other star because overall it felt pointless, but it wasn’t horribly written.

A fascinating fantasy. A flowing, well-written tale that quickly captures the imagination. This story maintains its internal world-building with a believable narrative and an empathetic heroine. It’s the best book I’ve read for a while. Enjoy!
