Island Shifters-An Oath of Blood. I finished chapter 11, disgusted...the bad guy got to kill all the good people except four...who seem to be weak and helpless...I can see lots more horror and death at the hands of the bad guy....many chapters, before the guys in the white hats get anywhere... I really do like stories where the heroes get to win a few battles before the end. And since this is book 1, I can only imagine how long the death and torture will be drug out through who knows how many books. Nope, not my kind of story....we get enough "the bad guys always winning" in our day to day lives... SueB
