Great... I want more lessons please update…!

Cant donlowed. Pleass some one text me how to dothis 50283804483

Teacher Version, fix videos, edit mistakes. In addition to the mistakes throughout the text (i.e. the universal gravitation chapter on pg 447 lists centripetal acceleration incorrectly as 4pi^2/T^2) the videos do not play, and you can't possibly expect this to become mainstream without instructor solutions. This has so much potential! And even with the issues, great deal.

Please Expand your selection quick!. Great idea and look but this would really help college students out more than the younger crowd.

Help. Having a problem downloading my physics book.

Errors. Many errors in grammar and even answers just in the first chapter. Before publishing this textbook, errors should have been corrected. It would be a great classroom tool for me as a physics teacher if it was reliable. In one of the labs, I was not able to see a video that was to go along with it.

Excellent intro to physics. This book is a must read for any person who wants to get information about how the universe works.

Wonderful book!. I have been looking for a book for my MCAT that I found this book. Honestly it is great!

Too many errors. It was ok...it just needed to be revised. I found some facts wrong and it had grammar errors. I personally found myself uninterested in reading this book in the middle of the book.

Great Book for Students. I bought this book thinking it would reinforce my understanding of Physics from class. This book is doing more than “reinforcing my understanding”. I’m learning things that I would have never learned in Physics class in school. Overall, great book. I highly recommend it for any student in Physics that may be struggling with understanding.

Great start to the future of learning.. This textbook is amazing, extremely interactive, and very cheap. When I first bought the iPad i wondered what is the point of the iPad, it is just a touch screen computer or a giant iPhone. Now with this textbook I see to point of the iPad and how useful it can be. Even though I have not done much work with the textbook, it is a great utility with 3d models, flash cards, loads of practice problems, videos and more. The only negative that I have is that there is no answer key. Otherwise I can't wait for more and more cheap, good quality textbooks to come out.

Trashcanrieor. I can’t download the book

Video fail to play. There are very few interactive widgets and videos fail to play. Redownload it again but videos just fail to play. Hopefully there will be updates to add more interactivity and playable videos.

Good Start to Apple Textbooks. This textbook is awesome. And as an excelling student in math and science, being able to learn physics at an early age is great. I love the notes factor; I can't comprehend anything unless I take notes. The bad thing about it is that like others, I am seeing incorrect answers for some of the quizzes. I usually know that the answers that they have listed are incorrect, but with new, more difficult concepts appearing, I'm worried that I'll be learning the wrong thing. I have never taken physics before and this is fascinating, but I'm just not sure if I'm learning it right.

A great first try .... The Physics textbook appears to be comprehensive for high school usage. It contains the Physics topics and covers them at a bit below the math skills level that I would expect; however, it is difficult to write a book used at a 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade peel without scaling the math skills down to include all four levels. My personal dislike and also of others that have reviewed the textbooks thus far is with the constant scrolling through text instead of the use of a normal page turning paradigm. Frankly, it detracts significantly from the look and feel of a book, textbook or otherwise. Fix the paging issue and I will stand up and call this a winner. Addition ... These books take up way too much storage space averaging between 1 and 1.5 Gb. There are also a great deal of issue trying to remove the copy by deselecting it in iTunes. Every time the iPad synced, ITunes would turn the selection back on and would remove the book.

Unimpressive. My initial impression, watching the movie ad was emotional. However, my first user impression was very disappointing. There was minimal application of user interactivity present. I did not feel like I wanted to engage or learn using this product, and that is very telling.

Not good and that is why. - the paper edition got more images - over 80% of the problems (the really challenging ones) are without solutions - the way it presents informations leaves a lot, and i mean a lot to be desired - it does not take advantage of the possibility of digital interactive activity, so why bother with the (made for i book) thing! Don't buy this, trust me, or at least try it first.

Proper editing is important In physics. Text quizzes are riddled with errors. Unacceptable in science education. This book should be pulled immediately until some one who understands, physics can edit the book. Update: the new revision is a much better book. There are still errors, however, this time it took until the first standardized test problem to find one....

Amazing!. The greatest version of textbook! Please add more upper division university textbooks.

Completely underwhelming. Downloading it was my first big challenge, as the download kept stalling out. Occasionally, I could access the text, but it would then crash, requiring more attempts to download. When I could look at the text, it was very disappointing. Randomly organized, generally poorly written, and replete with errors. No wonder so many kids in our country give up on science. Surely we can do far better than this poor effort.

Inconsistent interface and not edited!!!. Why does portrait view miss out on all interactive features, like the Quizzes. Didn't even resize they where there until auto rotate showed me. Why was this book never edited!!!!

Slightly misleading.... Overall, the textbook is great. There are many real-world connections, which are nice, and lots of information. However, a slight problem arose in the form of the practice quizzes at the end of each section of the book. It was a good idea, but some of the answers are incorrect. It took me a while to figure out, but when it said that 'a person's little finger is about one meter in length', I figured it out. Apple ought to correct this boo-boo, otherwise people might get taught the wrong thing. Other than that, I loved it.m

Issues with textbook. Not all areas will highlight or show a place has been highlighted. Reopening book starts on publisher page, not last location. Sorting of highlights is not adjustable and appears out of page sequence. Effectively random list. Answers are too limited for effective study... No way to check progress unless access to hard copy or instructor material(so what's point of this format). Maybe a good initial effort but needs proofing and adjustments before would ever recommend for a classroom or reference source. Also need some sort of markup capability in text, if it's "mine" and intend to,use it for actual study. And of course there is the "gray screen of death" issue. All in all cool idea, but implementation is poor.

needs strp by step examples. i am currently taking physics next year and i find this book more comprehensive than actually teaching you the math. i wish this book has examples that taught you the math and syuff like that but overall good for concepts

Great step to wonders of universe. An all new way of feeding information. These digital books are far better than traditional books. There are inaccurate information in this book, which is unacceptable in factual and theory books. Publisher must correct content.
