Simply awesome.. I just want to say that this has been one of the best resources I've used for learning simple iOS fundamentals. I was skeptical at first since Most people here who didn't enjoy the book made decent arguments against it but after reading the book and from their comments it would seem that they either don't know how to code in objective c or they wanted to be held by the hand the entire way. It's true in their defense that their is a decent amount of obj. C used, and if you only know a little or none at all then Yes you will find it very challenging only because you don't understand the logic of the program. Otherwise it was outstanding. I had a ton of fun and it was very well worth the 4.00! I wish the author would write another book on IOS programming!

Money wasted. So you want to read a book that explains you how to program iOS? This is a documentation made by this guy for his very badly written application, perfect waste of money. I'm giving it 2 stars because it's cheaper.

Finally a book that will help me!. I've always wanted to learn how to create my own apps and I've already started learning with this book. The interactive features are great as the book tells you how to do something, and then lets you try it out using interactive simulators. Thanks Laurence Moroney for writing this awesome book!

Just Awesome. I've been struggling trying to learn IOS development without taking some kind of hands on course. I have a ton of development books on IOS, Objective-C, and Xcode and they all seem to miss vital rudimentary perspectives. Laurence put together very well written, spot-on how-to's explaining what each line of code does. Additionally, he provides video for each section of exactly what he wrote. Perfect!

Good but limited. This is a a short book good for producing your first app if you are a total beginner. It guides you to retrieving stock info over the web and printing it in your app. It also teaches you to publish your app on the app store. But it's just one app and the author does not write more content till sales for the book improve. But being 3.99....It's saves you time having to begin iPhone dev.

Amazing. I have struggled with the Objective C syntax for the last 6 months. This book changed my whole perspective. I was able to jump right in and go through the apple documentation to do my own customization to the apps done in this book. I was able to do this all because of you! HUGE THANK YOU!
