The bedeviled bride. I kept reading this but I’m not sure why. Story line and character dialogue was very poor.

booooring. so very not worth the $. stupid story line drawn out to the point where i couldn't take it anymore. had to stop reading and move on to something else. bought a couple of bride books based on reviews. i don't know what everyone's talking about. both books stunk. don't waste your time/$!!

Bedeviled bride. Interesting and humorous story.

Pretty good. I enjoyed this book way more than the 3rd book. It is a simply story and very easy to read book. Nothing to deep.

Another thoroughly enjoyable read. I love this series ! Each story is stand alone but a continuation of the previous books without being redundant . Great fun to actually follow along with the lives of these characters. I can only hope this author has other series out there when I finish this one ! Thank you for a few well spent evenings !

Undeveloped. The characters and the plot are significantly underdeveloped. There is nothing to the story other than a woman’s ire against her husband and then her sudden change of heart towards him. The ghost, who is the antagonist of the story does nothing towards character development other than revealing that Michael is more focused on his desires than the welfare of his wife. The ending is clearly rushed. Overall, the book is very underwhelming. I would recommend this book to those who want a simple romance. However, if you are looking for something more engaging with more of a plot/developed characters, I would recommend reading the works of Diana Gabaldon or Grace Callaway.

Great disappointment. I thoroughly enjoyed the other three Wetherby novels, in fact I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning enthralled in them. This book left me wanting and disappointed. I think the author had a great idea for the story, but was lost how to execute it. The plot is weak at best. The "ghost" is almost an after thought, like the author got halfway through the book and remembered there was supposed to be a "ghost", so she quickly wrote a chapter to include it and that was it. If you've read the other three books, read it, but just know it's not worth the paper it's not even printed on!

Lukewarm. I've read 2 other books in the series & wished this one could have drawn me in as much as the other two. I knew the character of Michael was already in love with the heroine from the previous book but it was not believable how Elizabeth "fell in love" with him. The transition from enraged attraction to "amorous" passion was a bit abrupt and the author did not develop it as much. I did like the paranormal aspect a bit.
