Curriculum resource. Excellent resource for secondary school economics class. Practical and functional. Ties in nicely with today's fiscal woes.

Great Resource. This is a great resource that a lot of people could find useful. There are clear objects and learning outcomes. It is well organized. I think that the only quibbles I have is that I was unable to get it to change orientation. The second quibble is that I would like to see it in more formats (.pdf). It would be nice if students could complete the worksheets on their ipads/devices. There are apps that permit students to write on .pdf files so that would be nice. Perhaps I did not explore it far enough. Otherwise this is a great tool that I will recommend to others.

Awesome Lesson Plans for Teens!. Great lesson plans that are both teen and teacher friendly. Plans are interactive which will increase student achievement. Only complaint is the resume lesson still teaches an "Objective" which I have read recently should not be on a resume.

Excellent Lessons. These lesson plans use real-world scenarios that students can really understand and want to learn. The lessons have objectives, essential questions, and student activities to help students better understand the concepts...Everything a teacher is looking for!

Outstanding financial curriculum. I am very impressed by the curriculum, and can't wait to use it in the classroom! It seems the curriculum team thought of every aspect of todays classroom when designing the lessons. It touched on much needed topics such as debt, financial goals, financing a car, identify theft, and much more. The curriculum implements technology in the classroom by including lessons that use tablets (iPads), as well as providing links to online resources and related articles. I especially like how the links are short, however I still need to check their relevance. Each lesson also has a writing component and suggestions for guest speakers. The teacher's tips were awesome, and suggested other great classroom resources for the tech savvy teacher such as Polleverywhere. Lastly, the curriculum also included ELA standards which is very important considering the demographics of many schools in states such as Texas, California, and Florida. My only complaint is teachers tips such as "What is the essential question?" should be included at the beginning of the book, to explain the different components of the lessons.

Great program for high school kids,,, and teachers!. I am a high school business education teacher and after reviewing this program I have adopted much of what is presented in this course into what I do in my Personal Finance class. I love that each lesson cites the standards and core skills it supports, and the organization of the lessons as well as the exercises are appropriate for all high school students. I use this course now along with some Dave Ramsey stuff and my students really like the change from the dated material I had available in the past.

Awesome!. I am in awe that I got to download for free- this is a truly wonderful program that I think all students should be required to go through. It's easy to use and written in a language that the intended readers will understand. I plan on sharing this with all my friends. Grades 9 through 12 are when students truly begin to wonder about these things. This informed me more than the kourse I took in 10th grade and was a lot more engaging. My mother will be seeing this! I hope she will share it with her students.

Review. This is a great resource for anyone trying to promote and teach financial literacy in the community. I have the CDs of money smart presentations but this is great!

Money Skills. I will be teaching Personal Finance at the high school level this fall using Practical Money Skills. This curriculum is excellent! Well constructed and meets the state standards. I highly recommend this to every teacher who will be teaching Personal Finance - a required high school course in many states.

Practical Money Skills Course Curriculum. This is an excellent resource. I use much of the Practical Money Skills info in my classes--I was very pleased to see that it also covered the debt snowball that I teach with my Dave Ramsey info. I also really like the ability to highlight a word or passage in "My Notes" on the iPad. I am excited to use the iPad applications. The student activity sheets, the instructors guide and tips are all going to be very helpful.

Practical Money Skills Course Curriculum. This course was very informative with relevant information. My students were engaged and not bored with material. The information generated much discussion. Students were interested due to all the news about the economy and many wanted practical information on money management, this product delivered.

A financial literacy textbook for teens written by Visa. Worksheets on why you need a loan to buy your “dream car” targeted to children. About as trustworthy as McDonalda sponsoring a nutrition textbook. Worse than bad.

Teach teens about money BEFORE they can get into trouble with it!. I wish we had resources like this when I was a high school student! As an adult, I have had to recover from a great deal of financial myths I was taught as a kid. When I first became interested in personal finance, I was about 15 - I read a handful of books I didn't quite understand, and asked a lot of questions that never got answered appropriately. This is a great resource to ensure that doesn't happen to your students/kids! With the opportunity to both learn and participate in finance education, they will gain valuable insight into managing their money and planning their financial futures wisely. Definitely recommend!

Great resource,. I used the Practical Money Skills lessons in my classroom last year. They have adapted the lessons based on grade level and ability. I teach special education and much of my time is spent modifying and adapting lesson plans. I am very excited to have the curriculum in iBook format.

Practical Money Skills Course. A wide variety of financial education subjects/topics are addressed. These are areas that students need to learn about as they enter the working world. Being a mathematics instructor; I was hoping that there would be more of the mathematics behind money management. Overall, this is an important resource to improve financial literacy of students.

You can get great information on credit, prepaid cards, and budgets. Practical Money Skills offers free resources including videos, downloads and other tools available for use in your classroom or personal use. We use the resources from the web site for work – budget counseling and I also use it for my personal use. My nieces and nephews (they range in ages) enjoy the lesson plans from Practical Money Skills. I love this website. I signed up for their Newsletter and check the site regularly for lesson updates.

Practical money skills. Loved this textbook because it is so easy to use and so tech-connected. Also loved all the teacher tips, like Essential Questions, for UbD lesson planning. The student activities were very good. I just wish I could enlarge the page of student questions so it would be easier to read. Hopefully students can drop them into good reader on the iPad and annotate with their answers.
