Predictable. Worth reading if you don't mind a predictable, go-through-the-numbers story. There are some interesting twists, but they mostly come from the "bad guys.". This is fine if you're stuck with nothing else to read or do.

Meh.... Contrived, stereotypical characters ... Nonsensical plot ... The author does seem to have some writing skill, and I suspect others may enjoy it ... but I had to quit halfway through.
