Satisfied. Satisfactory ending to a good series! A must read! Thanks to my cousin who introduced me to this series! It's too bad she didn't live to read the final chapter. May she rest in peace.

Length. I'm excited. And I don't think that that 448 pages is all that short, it could be worse. At least I'm not having to wait as long as I have for other book series. I'm hooked, bad.

Blood of Dragons. The fourth book in what was to be a trilogy was still page turning. I feel like although the loose ends were tied up, I wanted it to keep going, as one always does when they become attached to characters and a storyline. I was disappointed not to get to witness the death scene of the Duke of Chalced, or see Sedric's relationship progress with the Dutchess, but perhaps the Dutchess will have her own series about her life and how she rebuilt a nation that's entire existence has been based on male domination and war? It would've been nice to see Leftrin and Alise have a child or get married. I enjoyed the series greatly though and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading fantasy, Robin Hobb is an excellent writer and I've read other works as well and never been disappointed!

City of Dragons. All I really want to say is I was totally captivated by this particular series. I was so 'encapsulated... I couldn't stop reading!

Good read but too abrupt at the end. I really enjoyed reading the end of this series and seeing how things progressed form the beginning. However the end was just too fast. The destruction of Chalced should have been in more detail especially the end of the Duke. I feel a bit robbed of the satisfaction of seeing his fate after all he did to Selden. Overall though a great read.
