Love it!. I'm not sure what I expected, but this book blew me away. (I received a free e-edition for an honest review.) The author did a fantastic job of grabbing me by the hand and racing me through chapters, at times laughing, and other times begging her to slow down--I felt like I couldn't read it fast enough--and at the end, left me breathless. Well, I had just enough breath left in me to say, out loud to no one in particular, "That. Was. Awesome." I am definitely looking forward to reading the next one. If you've read other reviews, you already know that the main character becomes a vampire. Other vampires believe that she is the one prophesied to destroy the vampire race. Since this concept isn't a new one, I was apprehensive that the same scenarios would play out. But they didn't. The author surprised me with fresh prospectives. Not just a Young Adult good read. I'm 40, and I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this book! It's one H E double L of a debut novel!

Awesome Fun !. This was an awesome read. A completely different twist on the vampire genre. Yeah still some blood and guts but not at all what you might think. Only faint traces of a love story but a really fun and entertaining read. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant. This book was amazing. Beautiful told and totally brilliant. Axelia is an awesome character and is so easy to relate to. I love the all characters and found it hard not to feel betrayed, lost and hurt like Axelia. Every great heroine has an equally terrific hero and Lucas is no different. My favorite part had to be the ending, of course, and I enjoyed getting there. A really great book and a must read for any vampire fan!

Amazing! 😱. This book was hard to put down! It was non-stop adventure, courage and plot twists that I never saw coming. It’s everything you would enjoy in a vampire story. I definitely recommend!

I totally recommend it!!. This is defiantly not your typical vampire story so your not going to be bored with the typical love vampire story. This book was fast-paced and I finished it in one day! Read it a few days ago. Totally worth the amount of money!

Very very good!. The book was great; the ending is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. The ending was so abrupt and random that it killed the book for me. I didn't even know if the book was over I kept checking the book percentage because I thought I was missing the last five chapters. Oh and I like the characters, at first I thought that Xee was going to annoy me to death with her need to verbalize her every thought but it actually didn't annoy me at all... Her comments were endearing and sensible ( usually).
