Good book. Held my interest. I read it all in one sitting. I really liked Thomas and Ray. I don’t like how this author ends his books by ruining one of the main characters and making you suddenly not like them. He’s done it in a few of his books. Still debating whether it ruined this book for me. Ugh. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

Trust your eyes. Barclay delivers a well written mystery thriller with multi level plot developments and delightful twists and turns. Thomas, the savant schizophrenic brother is quirky as hell but somehow believable as a character. The bad guys are really bad - and the good guys are just that. You will be blindsided by the last few paragraphs.

What is real?. The story deals with imagination and reality as if they are brother and sister. Surprise twist at the end. Loved it.

One of my favs. Loved this story. Barclay is great at telling a story. This is one of my favorites of his so far. I know I need to read all of them!

Trust your Eyes. By boysmumas What a great read and the ending just blew me away. I would like to read another book with Ray and Thomas featured. I read this in one day and didn't skip over any parts as I do with most books. I recommend this novel to anyone who wants an edge of the seat thriller.

Excellent Page Turner. Barclay has done it again! I swear his writing is getting better with every book. You need to read this, especially if you are a mystery fan. He interweaves different plots and really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Trust your eyes. The last couple pages were a shocker. Not at all what I expected. It was entertaining from beginning to end.

Great Suspense!. Trust Your Eyes was a compelling book with some twists and turns. The characters were very interesting, the storyline was fast paced and kept me thinking, and I really liked the way all of the different angles of the storyline came together. I thought this was a very clever book. Ray Kilbride returns home to Promise Falls, New York after the death of his father to put affairs in order. He has some decisions to make about his younger brother Thomas, as he is schizophrenic, spends all day in his room on his computer, and has never been expected to take care of himself or anything in the household. Shortly after Ray's arrival, Thomas sees something terribly disturbing online and sends Ray to investigate it. This causes them to become caught up in a scandal involving politics, blackmail, and a number of brutal murders. As they innocently become embroiled in this, secrets of their own family begin to come to light. I really liked Ray Kilbride, and thought Julie McGill made a good counterpart for him. Thomas was a very interesting character. I liked the action and thought there was plenty of suspense as well. I found parts to be surprising, and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
