Special Relativity Book Reviews
Special Relativity by Patrick R. LeClair Book Summary
This chapter provides an overview of special relativity for introductory physics students. It is an algebra-based text, and presumes the student has had some exposure to Newtonian kinematics (position, velocity, and acceleration).
This is the first chapter in a longer book for an algebra-based survey physics course which covers relativity, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics. I plan to add the remaining chapters soon, once the conversion to the iBook format is complete.
