Couldn’t Put It Down. I am so confused by the negative reviews on here. It is about the same time period as Beautiful Disaster, so yes, the dialogue and events are the same. However, this gives so much background into Travis, his family and past, his thoughts, etc. It was awesome to read about it from his point of view. Really well written, just like Beautiful Disaster. I can’t wait to read the series about the Maddox Brothers!

Completely LOVED it!. I loved Beautiful Disaster! I enjoyed reading this book again and loved it as much if not more the second time. I thought it was very cool to see it from Travis' point of view.

Love love love. I enjoyed this book so much. It's answers a all of the "why" questions of Travis' thought process from a beautiful disaster(which I encourage to read first). It's amazing and I loved every page. Keep writing!

Identical to the first. This book is supposed to be from a different POV (male protagonist) than the first (female protagonist). I read them back to back. They are identical except for a few sentences on each page. I can't believe the author got away with this and it's selling so well. What a sham.

Enjoyed it but...... Ok I admit that I enjoyed reading Travis' POV and I really loved the parts where we saw things not in Abby's book. However because much of the book was basically repeated I found it hard to get through this book. As much as I love Abby and Travis...it wasn't enough to keep me engrossed in the book because I felt like I already knew what was happening.

Oh Travis!. First it needs to be established that I love fighters. Walking Disaster is the companion book to Beautiful Disaster. I personally liked Walking Disaster better than Beautiful Disaster. They cover the same time period basically but with insights from the different characters POV. WD is the side of the story from Travis so you find out about his thoughts and emotions and what he was doing when they weren’t together. Also, WD gives an epilogue of their future, which shouldn’t be missed by any Travis Maddox fan. This book is more of a YA read. It does include some sex, bad language and violence but isn’t a full on “Lust in the Dust Book”. I love the underground fights, reminding me of Fight Club. Then throw in a little Las Vegas and the mob. Oh, and he rides a motorcycle which always leads me to thoughts of Jax Teller, yum. And he’s covered it tattoos! Who doesn’t love a sexy muscled fighter with tats? Travis is a walking one-night-stand with a revolving door until he meets Abby. He’s hot fo’shizzle. This book has great supporting characters, some of which will have their own books

Travis's POV is not all that different from Abby's POV. It was like reading the story a 2nd time.. Once you get past the cliche of Travis being a pig and stating he did not promise any of those girls a relationship and the fact that he thinks Abby is different then it a very entertaining story. I love when a girl gets inside a guys head and messes him up. It's about time the tables are turned. Travis is a mess over Abby because he thinks he is not worthy of a girl like him. Travis has a bad reputation with girls and Abby does not want to be connected with that image while hanging out with him. Travis is a fighter and a smart guy. Travis has potential. He just does not believe he does. I like this trip down memory lane from Travis's POV. It's always interesting to read from the guys perspective.Reading the story from Travis's POV shows me a new side to Him. He's a little too possessive and clingy. I love how the story originally starts with Travis being the star fighter calling all the shots and now it's Abby who is famous and pulling Travis along. I like how Abby and Travis past experiences help each other out for future events. I don't understand Abby when she breaks up with Travis and then gets back together with him with no explanation as to why it all happened to begin with. I also did not like the person Travis became while with Abby and the one not with Abby. I enjoyed recapping the story but I'm unsure if I gained anything by reading it from Travis's POV. Overall I enjoyed re-reading the story.

Offers some closure. I really liked the 2nd book. It was nice to have Travis' point of view. When I read the 1st book I found myself wanting to know more than once what was going through his head. Also loved the ending, nice to have a little glimpse of what their life became, but would've been better if it were a 3rd book :-)

Nothing new.. I feel stupid for having paid for this "other side of the story." It was too close and no real depth of character was added to Travis. His inner monologues were so short between the exact same bits of dialogue. Shameless way to make a buck.

Greatness. I love this book! I love how you get Travis's POV, you feel what he feeling! Jamie McGuire is a great writer, love all he books!!!😍😍😍

Well hello!. This book was amazing, way better then the first book, I couldn't put the book down. I have reread this book but have not reread the first. If you liked the first you can't go wrong here.

WORTH IT!!. I fell in love with Travis and Abby in the first book, and I just didn't want it to be over. After I read the reviews for walking disaster, I was nervous about buying it but I couldn't stand wondering what it was like. It is fantastic!!!!!! I found myself wondering what was going through travis's mind the whole first book, and I think this book with his side of the story is absolutely brilliant! I agree, it is not as detailed and some of it is the same, but it's in a different point of view. The way it explains his feelings is just remarkable and makes it a whole new story in my opinion. I recommended this book a thousand times over. It will not disappoint Beautiful disaster fans!

The exact same book as beautiful disaster.. Literally the author was SO LAZY that she didn’t even rephrase parts of the book, used same adjectives, etc. V salty i spent the extra $10 on this book. Not worth it. If you’re thinking about buying it, save yourself the money and just reread beautiful disaster.

Very, very, Disapointing!. I guess I did learn something by this book, which is never pre-order a book again! If i hadn't pre-ordered it then i would have been able to read the reviews and know thats its the exact same story with nothing new but the last few pages! Very disapointing!

Loved it!!. Yeah the book was pretty much the same as the 1st book ( Abby's point of view) but it also filled on the blanks on whats Travis was doing when he wasn't with Abby. I still couldn't put the book down! As for the ending....loved it!!! Perfect closure!! :)

Awesome Book!!. Okay now first of all to all those people who gave it a bad review did you even read what it's about? Cause if you did then you wouldn't be writing the reviews you do now. And if you haven't it says its the story written from Travis's point of view so obviously it was gonna be similar! So you should just be quiet cause this author wrote an amazing book that she put so much work into it! Okay now for the review I really loved this book and especially the ending it gave you a peak into what their lives have become since the last chapter. Also I can't wait for the other Maddox brothers to get their books! Keep up the great writing Mrs. McGuire!!! :)

Repeat. I couldn't even get past the first five pages, it is beautiful disaster written from Travis's perspective. I loved beautiful disaster but I am so mad that I spent my money on this when its practically the same book.

Disappointed. This is the same story as Beautiful Disaster, just written in the point of view of the male character. I did read the first book, I DID NOT need to purchase the same story again. Very disappointed I spent the money. I skipped through the whole book. I did read the last chapter and the epilogue. But seriously...... WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

Read this review!. I have the urge to say that, while I’m aware everyone is entitled to their own opinions, most reviews on this book/series confuse me. Before I read them, I skimmed through the reviews on here and most of them were surprisingly negative. Talking about typos and it not being a worthy story and what not, but I disagree. Travis and Abby’s (Pigeon) story is pretty awesome and it felt like I never knew what was going to happen next. The author keeps the reader on their toes, throwing in events that are completely unexpected and at times heart breaking. The author also knows how to throw in good humor, which is a plus/good balance to all the times you feel like crying while reading. The character development was unique in my opinion and the farther you get into the book, you will find that the author does this for a reason. You find out the type of guy Travis is and only a little surface info on Abby, the rest revealing later - which is expected - but who she really is kind of caught me off guard! Over all, the writing is good (even the misspellings other reviews mention-there are not that many) the story is great and I definitely recommend!

Abby & Travis - Great version from Travis Maddox's POV. This book was a great read. Even better than Beautiful Disaster. I highly recommend both books and couldn't put them down.

It’s okay. It’s better than the first book in the series IMO. Only because it’s from Travis’s POV and explains why he’s so crazy and abusive. Don’t get me wrong, I still liked reading it. I don’t know why other than I’m used to dating guys like him. Maybe it’s because I myself am screwed up and want someone to fight for me as much as Travis fights for Abby. Sick I know. The writing isn’t great. Characters are a little more developed/explained than the first book. Trigger warning for those sensitive to abusive, codependent relationships and male on male violence. Lots of misogyny. Still gonna read the next book. And the Maddox brothers series. What can I say?

Best book ever. I literally could not stop reading this book. I cannot describe home much I love this book. Even when it was time to get some sleep, I almost stayed up all night reading. The way Travis loves Abby is so heart warming. I really home to there will be more books of Travis and Abby in the future.

Grammatical errors. There are several grammatical errors in this book. I hate to be the one but I’m only a couple chapters in and it’s disappointing

Absolutely perfect!. This book had to be my favorite of the series. I loved loved loved being in the mind of Travis Maddox. I have read this book three or four times and it just gets more perfect each time. Jaime McGuire by far out did herself in this one and I love every bit of it.

written disaster. this book is just simple a rip off. if you have read beautiful disaster you have read them both. walking disaster is the same story but told by travis. there is nothing new except I am out the 12 buck it cost me.

Can't wait. Just have to say that I loved Beautiful Disaster and have read it a couple times now and can't wait for this one to come out. Just wish I didn't have to wait until April. Really??!!!

Loved the book. It was such a good read I finished it in 2 days! I will not make this mistake of buying the other book though. I feel like I have the whole story don't need to read it again from Abby's side.

Really?. I've just finished the first book and I was excited with reading the second one, but it is exactly the same story.... Same lines, same everything. Come on! I am angry that I've paid for this!

Walking Disaster. I do have to add that i do not wrote reviews about books too often. But this book needed it; i loved reading Beautiful Disaster and this book made it even better. I loved how the author made two books from the perspective of the two main characters and was very well written 😁

So much potential. I love the story line between Abby & Travis, but if you have read Beautiful Disaster then there is little new that is brought to this book. I was hoping this read would help associate with Travis' mindset and thoughts. This was minimal at best and too many sections were simply cut & pasted from Beautiful Disaster. Some areas even missed changing the point of view from Abby to Travis .

April???. I am so P.Oed that we have to wait until April for the next book! Especially when at the end of first book it says it will be coming out in the fall! Ugh! However, even though I am annoyed I still loved the first book and I am excited for the second!

How did this ever get printed?!. I can't believe I just paid $11 for this garbage! ...even worse, I read it all before but from a different point of view! I'm ashamed of myself. I thought this would be a sequel or least be an interesting, albeit trashy, read for a few hours. The author and publisher must be ROFL at how easy it is to make money these days.
