Ive canceled my first subscription yet it renew on its own accord it took forever the first time and now it’s waste of time for me to again just cancel a simple subscription. Great download to iPad. It had a fast download to my iPad and easy to save the FSD supervised 12.3.3 video from Whole Mars Catalog. This software is mind blowing and he is showing the world. I also experienced it at the Tesla facility in Orlando, FL off John Young Parkway in V4 due to his video. My 2020 does not have the same camera’s ans parking as the V4. Quite the difference in a 2024 compared to a V3!

Good but bad. So when I was letting my son watch Yt he was watching inappropriate stuff so I have it a 4 so can I pls take away the inappropriate stuff?

Add tube. Add Tube is great for watching all the adds. Every once in a while the adds are interrupted by an interesting video of your choice. But not to worry, you can expect your adds to pop back up every 30 seconds or so.

Useful from entertaining to learning. Love YouTube have accompanied me through school, work, even daily life. There always new information free for people.

Annoying screensavers!. Please take away the automatic randomized screensavers. Don’t understand why the screensavers will start playing all of a sudden without the ability or option to turn off a new annoying feature. Was fine without it. My tv has a screen saver option built in that you can turn on or off so don’t need one built into the YouTube app that I can’t turn off. It’s pretty jarring when I pause something to leave the room a couple minutes and something random is on my screen. I mean it literally comes on after a couple minutes and it’s mostly ridiculous screensavers you would have on a computer 10 years ago. YouTube is my only app that I use for watching videos so please remove or give the option to turn off!

Update. Update has my phone overheating nonstop and taking around 20% battery in an hour of listening to a podcast in background with screen off. Needs fixed til then I guess I’m dusting off my Spotify account. After update your app is still killing my phones battery and overheating. Will not be using until issue is fixed and cancelling premium as the app is now useless. iPhone 14pro and opening the app is draining battery by a little over 1% for every MINUTE the app is running. Do better or I just won’t be back. Too many content creators spread about different competing apps makes dropping an alphabet company too tempting.

A low review and why. My review of YouTube is very low because I’m an old fan of the original, a free video sharing platform. I don’t have a problem with all of the money that you make charging for services like TV as it is good, and your free TV with commercials is good also. But not free. Still my score is low because you are now altering my behavior by making me get up often as a free listener to let you know I’m still listening. The score stands and I’m seriously considering my future video uploads on your competitions applications. I think SCRUM is overdone and has been since it was adopted. God bless, from the south. Troy

App Drains Phone Battery. Recently, the app has begun to drain my iPhone 13 battery. It also makes the phone run hot. I know it’s the YouTube app because it only does this while I’m using it. I’m not sure if this has been addressed in the latest version update, but I’m trying to uninstall and reinstall it to see if that changes anything.

Obsessed with ads. I know you are desperate to make revenue but to have ads before you watch content and every 5 - 6 mins during content is a joke. Even when you pay membership to certain creators and YT/Google get 30% of it, you still get bombarded with ads when watching their personal content. Play fair YT/Google, as my membership’s total more than your monthly subscription request for ad-free content. Maybe if I/we cancel our subscriptions to our creators and just pay you, you would be happy but then, the creators lose out. Stop being greedy YT/Google.

YouTube. Used to be amazing but I’ve noticed when I’ve been trying to watch it the videos won’t load anymore and I don’t have an adblocker so it can’t be that. I was trying to watch a fishy video or any at all and it just buffers for a minute or two and then says something wrong try again.

How I think YouTube is …. Hi YouTube so basically I think your app is very good but .. the problem is that sometimes there is some inappropriate content on there so you need to sort it out but otherwise it is a good app. The content is not good for people 18-. But I do love YouTube and I’m addicted to it lol.

Adverts. Far too many adverts it spoils the enjoyment of watching too many people making too much money. Just put a video and let us watch it for at least 25 mins before we get bombarded with adverts.

It’s decent. Overall it’s a good app, though you’re locked out of the best features unless you pay - (such as viewing with the screen off, HQ videos etc). I pay so I don’t mind. However - worth noting there seems to be a bug that’s causing my phone to overheat and drain battery really fast. It started last week. I’m on iPhone 15 pro max. As a result I don’t use YouTube currently because it heats up so badly I can’t keep it in my hand or pocket - and my battery loses a percent every minute or so. Please fix this

Great App.. I use YouTube premium by the way, which works really well as I can’t stand watching adverts. I also like being able to download videos. I am writing this from my phone but I mostly watch YouTube on smart TV or iPad. YouTube premium will remain great as long as YouTube doesn’t require users to start watching unskippable sponsor messages in videos.

No effort to remove Telegram scammers, also closed captions can’t be always on?. YouTube comments are now overrun with scammers. Unfortunately, YouTube does nothing to fix this because although they have algorithms to recommend videos and spend more time looking at ads, they literally couldn’t care less about your online safety because it doesn’t affect THEM financially. The other bugbear that I have, is that closed captions can’t be set to “always on”. Considering this is in an enlightened 2024 (was 2023 when I originally wrote this), you’d think that YouTube might have caught onto the idea that some of its viewers might be deaf, and therefore need closed captions all the time. Poor show. Also, when I do switch captions on manually, I get an overlay telling me that captions are on, meaning that I then miss the first few seconds of dialogue. Finally, why do random shorts play automatically, even though I have autoplay switched off? Sure, I get that they’re trying to keep up with TikTok’s attention-span race to the bottom, but some of us prefer to select our own videos and not just get them thrust in our faces! Why can’t I switch shorts off?

Phone heating up since last update. Anyone else’s phone heating up since the last 2 updates? They’ve fixed the video resetting after you leave the app and reopen but the phone still gets very warm when using the app.

Download Rumble instead. YouTube has to seriously do something about their ads it’s getting out of control. Every video I click has 2 ads before the video plays. During a 4 minute video I got another 2 ads sometimes more not counting the 2 you get before the video starts. It’s ridiculous you can’t watch anything anymore without them trying to advertise some random product.

I just want to watch a video. Please fix it I’m skipping the add but the add will go to the next add please fix it I just want to have it fixed

ads are getting terrible. I got an ad I literally couldn’t exit out of, I had to find my video again and when I did I got 3 ads in a row, first I got one and I skipped it, not even a second later I got 2 unskippable ads.
