Love these Ladies. I don’t think I have ever done a book review before, but for this series I really felt I must. I think I am on book 10 now and absolutely LOVE these characters. I seriously laugh out loud multiple times a book and can’t wait to see what these crazy ladies will get into next. If you like a mystery with a lot of humor thrown in, you will LOVE these books!!

Hysterically funny. OMG this book was not what I was expecting. It was so beautifully written and the storyline so believable but some of the parts were so funny I was actually laughing out loud: over and over again. If you like Janet Evanovich, you will doubly enjoy this tale.

Great fun!. I read this book about 2 years ago and still have not forgotten it. It’s a quick, fun, and very funny read. Jana Deleon always knows how to make me laugh out loud. I’ve recommended this book to many people since I read it. Definitely one of my favorites.

Excellent!!. Jana DeLeon is my favorite writer. I’ve read most of the Mother in Law series, I find myself laughing so hard. She doesn’t skimp on the mystery part either, and I am hooked on anything she writes. Big fan excellent author!

Funny. This book is like reading vintage Donald Westlake...laugh out loud funny with a great story. Fortune, Ida Bell and Gertie...what a team. Let’s hope Sony does this book justice, which means leave the humor in it, pick the right ladies to do the job and do not just use the name of the book!!!

Loved it!. Was looking for some new authors to read. Saw this & two other books by this author as a free download. I finished this book in essentially one day. I loved it. It is everything I like about a book. It is easy to read, moves along nicely, gives just the right amount of detail, & has my type of humor. I have now become a fan of this series & author. Really fun read:). This was a great story. The descriptive writing seemed to represent the lifestyle and flavour of bayou living and the characters were easy to relate to. The intense intrigue from the mystery surrounding the land inheritance was well balanced by the hilarious rompings of the ghostly mother in law. Well worth reading! I'm just off to buy the next ones in the series:)

Y’know what’s Sinful? Not leaving a review :). I place this delightful read in the Rose Gardener/ Addison Holmes camp. The protagonist, Fortune is easy to read along with on her escapades. Add a man candy, and island named No. 2- hahaha, a GSOH, bad guys and two Sinful dames w brains (bless ‘em) and you have a neat & tidy sleuthing adventure in the Deep South. I am more than biased towards Rose Gardener and Addison Holmes respectively, but this Miss Fortune series will hopefully join them on the top three podium.

Light and fun read. She has a cheeky, humorous writing style. Reminds me of Carl Hiassen. Written in first person, this is really fun for male readers.

Louisiana Longshot - What a great read !. The adventures, antics and circumstances that the characters find themselves in is a great read and had me laughing out loud many times. The story flows very well and as the pages dwindle one only hopes that this is the beginning of a series as I never wanted the story, or its characters, to stop. A FANTASTIC DELIGHT TO READ !
