Ok,but partial.. What’s written here is a pretty good part of a story but it’s not a whole book. If what a person is buying is a part in a series and not an entire book then they should be told that in order to make an informed decision.

Super Good!. I absolutely loved this! I keep getting an angry tsundere vibe from Dusty. But Thalos is calm and collected. A perfect match!

good but kinda confusing. i liked the story and plot overall but there’s a huge time skip in the beginning of the story and there’s no way to tell until you read a little further. i was very confused reading the beginning half but after i understood what was happening it made more sense. i was well written though :-)

Don't read this book. This book is pretty boring, and makes NO SENSE AT ALL!! First they are at a vampires house and there's a feminine dude who just becomes this vampires slave and more crap

The Readers' Imagination Will Be Seriously Taxed. This review encompasses the entire series. The cost to read the entire 5 book series is fairly steep. For a serialization, the expected cost is always higher, but at $0.99 for the first installment and $2.99 for each addition that follows, the reader will be spending a hefty $13 for what comes out to be about 175 pages of total story related content. While the plot for the story is intriguing, the execution is a little disappointing. The writing reads like a first draft, lacking sensory detail. While characters enter different locations, there is limited detail of what the environment looks like, smells like, feels like. The characters are mostly left shallow and ambiguous. The details are left completely up to the readers imagination, with little direction from the writer. Dusty's character is off putting. He is supposed to be the leader of the vampire slaying organization, but is easily angered and driven to tears. He childishly demands respect, while displaying few reasons why his subordinated should trust him with their lives. His frequent bouts of tears and whining leave no confidence that he could be a realistic vampire hunter, let alone a realistic leader. Thalos is somewhat better as a character. A self proclaimed romantic, his actions are a little more believable, even if his attachment to Dusty is unfounded. While Dusty's attachment to Thalos is expected due to being "cursed" by Thalos as a child, Thalos never says that he felt a similar absence for Dusty while they were separated for those many years. The series receives an "it was okay" marking because it is easy to see where the story could have been awesome. If the readers' imagination is up to filling in some enormous gaps while suspending some serious disbelief, it's an okay story.

Meh...Not so much.. It's decent, but the story progresses a bit to quickly, and it just seemed kinda....cheesy to me. Not to be rude or anything, I'm just a picky yaoi lover. I liked it, but I didn't love it. But I will admit....Vampire and Vampire hunter relationships are hot. ^w^ I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind simple and quick-progressing story lines.
