Another great Colleen Hoover book. This is my 4th book of Colleen’s and it did not disappoint. This story had a commonality in the Michigan connection which was cool and the story line pulled at me a lot of times. I cried a couple times throughout it. Another great read and can’t wait to read the next in the Slammed series!

I could have passed on this one.. I’ve read several by Hoover and have enjoyed each and every one. Many of which I could not put down. However this one was a disappointment. The characters seemed a bit too immature for me and I had a difficult time getting past that. Didn’t grab me like her others.

One of my FAVORITES!. I really enjoyed this book. It's about a girl falling in love with the boy across the street.. that just so happens to end up being her poetry teacher at the beginning of Senior year. Its a lovely read, and I think anyone would enjoy it.

This series is unbelievably good.. Her writing is amazing, I strongly recommend reading this series... I’d give it 100 stars.

OMG sooooo good!!!!. Slammed was so good. It's like one of those books that you never want to put down once you start. Love the drama the twisted situations. Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors of all times. Her books end ironic endings that leave you wanting more. I really recommend that you read slammed first before reading any of her other books in slammed series. Because if you don't it will not make sense. The three books that so well together. I just wish they had a fourth one coming out. I wish they made a movie out of it is because this book is amazing. No let me restate that her books are amazing. I am now such a big Colleen Hoover fan !!!!

The point is there is no point…. I typically give Colleen Hoover a 5 star review but her writing in this book was a little more spastic. Still a good read and I will finish the series. I can tell that this is one of her earlier books due to the way she writes here. I shed a tear or two and had my heartstrings pulled again.

Love!. I chose to read this book after my 1st read from this author "Verity". I decided to try another one of her books, which brought me to Slammed. I loved this book. I was easily drawn in and enthralled with the characters and i cried.. a lot. Im looking forward to the next book in the series.

Inspirational. Got me hook on the first page. Love the open relationship between mom and daughter. It is a very inspiring and educational story. Totally love it.

So Slammed. This book was amazing! I read all three books of the series in less than 24 hours. I was hooked! I absolutely love Will Cooper!! Definitely recommend it (and the rest in the series)! <3

Slammed - what a terrific book!. Came across this book by accident and so glad I did. What an amazing first novel and to have it self published just makes it more so! Kudos to Colleen for writing characters and a story that really ring true. Can't wait to read the 2nd book! Two of my favorite characters.

Ooof. I really wanted to like this book but the female main character is beyond immature and selfish and it is hard to swallow. It’s actually frustrating how she acts at times and while I understand she is 18, it’s definitely aggravating. I just don’t think this book has the same magic that her other books have and I was a little disappointed by it.

Slow and not as good as her other books. This one was the slowest of the 5 I’ve read so far. I almost gave up on it half way through, but then finally got pulled in. I finished it wishing there was more. I would recommend reading her other books over this one.

Perfectly heart wrenching read. Such a great book, as all of Her books are. Let me in tears and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

Slammed. I throughly enjoyed this book!

Disappointed :(. I read this after reading the Hopeless series and it does not compare! Throughout the entire book, beginning to end, I was in the back of my mind, thinking 'is this the same author?' The characters had little connection and strained, stiff emotions. I did not favor either of the main characters. There was no angst moments. I nearly skimmed the whole book, waiting for a real moment to be excited about. I guess my expectations were hoping to parallel with Hopeless, but I was unfortunately disappointed with this one. It seemed like it was written for a much younger crowd, even though both stories are set in high school. Was there a better beta reader/editor reached after this series that brought better dialog, writing and character development? I'll be waiting for newer reads if so.

❤️ this book- HATE the new cover. Colleen's writing style is a dream, you'll forget your reading with how she develops these characters and allows us to become engrossed in their lives.

Holy Crap. Oh my god. This book destroyed me and put the pieces back together all within a few hours. This book made me truly think about life, death, and everything in between. Absolutely heartbreaking in the best possible way. Sobbed for a few minutes after finishing, and I’ve never done that with a book before. If 10/5 stars was an option I’d give it in a heartbeat.

A year jerking story. I can’t believe what I just read, I cried so much during this book. Colleen hover did it again!!!

Loved it, but update messed up the book.. Love Colleen Hoover and all her books! I had to update my digital copy and now I have 39 pages telling me that there is a mistake at the bottom of the page....what do I do now?

Pretty good... I love all of Colleen Hoover’s books. This one is probably my least favorite though. Seems like it doesn’t have a good “flow” to it. One minute Tate and will meet and then all of sudden they’re in love. I find Tate’s character kind of immature throughout the whole book.

You must read it!!!!!. It's my new all time favorite book. This kind of reminded me of Ezra and aria from pll !!! I loved how there relationship had to go through many obstacles along the way and that's what made this book even more exiting and great. I can't wait till I get to read the second book. I'm really looking forward to it. Will and Lake are so lovable.

Filled with love and depth. After finishing this book, I couldn’t stop thinking about the impact it had on me. I loved so much of this book including the characters, plot, poetry, affection. From the beginning it engrossed me with ever page and made me feel joy, sadness, humor, and meaning. A great read and would highly recommend.

Sweet. It was a sweet story. I only purchased it because I read Hopeless and Losing Hope which I had completely fell in love with. Slammed was sweet but no comparison to Hopeless.

Great little story!!. Really enjoyed this book. The only thing I wished is that it was longer - I found it kind of short. I do recommend it though!!
