Normal. Wouldn't that be nice?

Ana Hughes has always wanted to be like any other teenager. But her life-threatening heart condition has always gotten in the way. A fresh start in a new town gives her the opportunity to pretend she's like everybody else.

When she meets handsome Chance Morgan, she suspects she isn't the only one keeping a secret. Chance's animal-like senses and miraculous healing ability make Ana question if he's playing tricks on her.

The truth may be too much for Ana's delicate heart. But there could be a greater danger if a supernatural world exists where everything and everyone are not what they seem.

Interesting Story line. Interesting story line. A bit too wordy about attraction and feelings. Got tired of descriptions a sped to the point. I was hooked on the story though.

Fledgling. Great book

Fledgling. Great read full of surprises

Sweet book with some mystery and adventure. Ana is a senior in high school who has met her first true crush and plans to keep her “secret” hidden from him and others for as long as possible so that she can have the “normal” senior year she dreams of living. It turns out Chance is no ordinary guy and he holds a secret of his own. Ultimately their love and devotion to one another is proven. The story moves along nicely and was a book I didn’t want to put down, yet it seemed to get more glitchy toward the end. I read the intro to book two, but was not hooked enough to pursue more.

Fledgling. Grammar errors so frequent it takes away from the story. Undeveloped plot and shallow characterization.

This was the sweetest freakin’ thing. I don’t remember ever checking the page number and being *overwhelmingly happy* that there are a lot of pages left. This story was so freaking cute. You’ll love the characters, I promise you that. The writing’s a bit iffy at first, but you can tell that the author grows throughout the story. I shall eagerly look forward to anything and everything else Natasha Brown writes.

So so good!. This book was so good. I have to say thought it made me cry. In a little over a month it will have been a year since my grandfather died unexpectedly of a heart attack. So, when they use that as Nyiol’s unexpected death it hit a little to close to home. Nonetheless though, this book was amazing

Eh... I had a love/hate relationship with this book. At first I thought it was good, yes. But once I got to the middle, I was just ready to stop reading. There was no drama, there was no nothing. I expected a little more than just “okay” when she finds out about him. I cant finish the book, it’s just too boring.

Good. This is the second time I've read this book. It was an intriguing and heart warming story. The fact that she mentioned an Ultasound of the heart, which is actually called an Echocardiogram pleased me. Before I retired I did work as an Echo Tech as well as regular Ultasound. BEL

Great book. This is a great book and a great series. The few grammar and spelling issues did not stop me from enjoying it. A definite read for any young adult.

Over the top. Indian folklore beautifully written an captavantingly stunning visuals for the minds eye

Awesome book. Loved reading this book!

Great book. Perfect read for a young teen.

Heartwarming. This story is definitely unique! A realistic account of someone living with a chronic heart condition, you first identify with the main character! However as it the plot twists and turns you find yourself drawn to all the characters until your completely absorbed in what's occurring! Can't wait to read the next in the series!

Flat. It felt like she tried to keep the story streamlined, but that in turn left holes and gaps. It wasn't really essential information missing, but the surrounding life of the book. Left it feeling flat. And Chance just 'felt' like a woman talking as a character, rather than a a teenage boy, or even just a male character.

Fledgling. The story idea was great but you really need someone to proof read before publishing. The story didn't flow smoothly as some words were missing or mixed up. It would be much better if you found a proof reader.
