Nice. I’m in love with this book

Mommy. This book is horribly sad. I wouldn’t recommend it to people under the age of 13... It’s a really well written book! It’s creative and everything, I just don’t like the way that she (spoiler) MURDERS her father... that’s really twisted and messed up. If you like that kind of thing I would totally recommend it to you. This book isn’t horror though... I would call it disturbing. That’s not supposed to be a bad thing, by the way. It captures that feeling really well, better than I could ever do!

Mommy. I was so into it that I didn’t even know I was done but I really wished it was longer instead of leaving me hanging and wondering.

Mommy. The book it’s self was great!! But why was it only 9 pages?!?! It was soo good until it ended with that cliff hanger

Chilling.... Honestly, this book was freaking amazing. From the first page to the last, I’d love to see maybe a little more detail, but that’s about it. SPOILERS: I really expected the girl to kill herself to try and be with her mom, but man did I ever get a twist ending. 10/10 must read!

Wow!. This was really good. I’m 74 and probably not the age reader that the author writes for but I really enjoyed this.

Wanted more. I liked all of what I read but I only got to the part where Ava murdered her father and it ended and I really wanted more

Great Book!. I am a 11 yr old and I like horror movies a lot the book is short and all but interesting.. at start you might think it’s a serial killer story and the starting but overall it’s a child’s horror nightmares and their own perspective of horror very good!!

Great Book. Man can she write, when you first start to read this you think oh this is a horror story about like, serial killers but this is a horror story about a child’s nightmare coming true, about one of their parents dying and the other parent responsible for the death, this is the child’s perspective of “horror”. Overall this was a great book,it really kept me turning those pages!

AMAZING!. I love this book although it’s quite short it’s still amazing for read trips or short things like that. I really recommend it!!!!

Twisted. This has some great bones of a short story. I loved how we started right into the action with Ava and her family. The first sentence was confusing in the way it was written. This happened a few times throughout the story, but it did not take away from the understanding. I would have liked to see more character development and a bit more backstory. Lengthening this story and a bit more editing would flesh this out and make it superb. I’ll be interested to check out other work by this author.

Very choppy.. Not a terrible short read by any means, but couldn’t help but notice the writing is very very choppy, jumping from sentence to sentence and not smooth flowing. A somewhat interesting concept for a story.

Mommy. 1. Ava wakes up in the middle of the night thinking there is a burglar. 2. It turns out her parents have been in a terrible accident and her mother is dead. 3. Ava blames her father and imagines his drunkenness and abuse before the crash. 4. Ava visits her father in the emergency room and smothers him to death. There is really no point to this short story. If you're looking for something scary, you'll be sorely disappointed.

Great book. It’s a great book. I wish though if it were a little bit longer and to describe the characters a little more. But overall it’s a great book! 😉
