Interesting. Great ibook.

Unlike anything else out there. This is really not an ordinary book. It is very hands on and true to its title. It is really the first book I've seen that truly is interactive, and it actually makes me WANT to learn. It's amazing how they take boring abstract concepts and actually make them understandable and engaging!

Great math book ever!. Great math book ever!

I rated this well, but. I hate you.

A good way to self-study, but-. In my view, it relies a little too heavily on movies, where you have to listen to the audio to make sense of it. I can read a lot faster than I can listen. Second, for the review questions, there’s no help in discovering WHY a specific answer is correct. This makes it hard to learn a concept if you don’t fully understand it. Too often a guess at a correct answer but have no way to find out why it’s the correct answer. And third…is the publisher defunct? I can’t seem to create an account on the SchoolYourself.com website, and I note that the most recent blog entry on the site is from August 2015.

Precalculus Teacher. I am a Precalculus teacher working on an iTunesU course. I embedded this book because it has a lot of really great features. Its interactive and not to overwhelming. I like it because it feels very app like. This will be an engaging book for students to use.

:-(. SInce I have no apple products and only ITUNES on my PC I won't be able to use these books. I hope there is a PC version soon.............. Or apple allows us to view books downloaded on ITUNES on their PC.

WCHolcomb. Fantastic! I'm getting old and slow and this is the math book for me! If I don't understand a concept immediately, I can go over it (and over it) until I do. There is enough substance to make you think and not become bored with the material. I wish I would have had this back in the 50's and 60's -- maybe I would have become a mathematician or theoretical physicist! You won't go wrong getting this book!

The future of education. The most effective style of teaching, interactive, stylish and most importantly fun. Even for those who don't like math will find this book/ tutor very much genius. Clearly 5 stars won't do this work any justice.

Effective way to learn precalculus. I loved how precalculus was presented in this book. Everything is explained in a clear manner, and I found all the interactive elements fun to play with and great at teaching the concepts. The content is all very accessible and broken down into short, easy chunks. The hints in the book are also well-designed, and are a great addition when I got stuck on a problem; it really feels like having a familiar person explaining the concepts to me directly! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn precalculus in a fun way and I'm looking forward to their next book on calculus!

Very enjoyable. I liked math in school until I got to algebra, and the approach was "here, kid, do these 10 pages of quadratic equations and hurry up" I was parked in a desk by the window with the sun blasting on me and no AC. No one ever thought it should be enloyable to learn math,and I stopped. So sad! 30 years later I realized it was not me but the school system, and I set out to solve it. Thiis is the answer! Great job, guys.
