Speechless. I've never felt so devastated after reading a book. I had to read that part a few times before believing it. I love how easy it was to get into the characters. I'm still angry at what she did and had to take a star away. Also, the rest of the book was too predicting and I only read it to just be finished with it so I can hurry to read Stealing Harper, Chase's side of the story.

Emotionally involved. When I started this book I didn't realize how emotional it would be. It was very well written and I loved the characters and how all the emotions were written into them. I thought it was going to be a typical love triangle but I was quite surprised by it in a lot of parts. I would highly recommend this book.

Disappointed. It started out so good then after that shocking turn of event, it just went downhill. Not how I wanted it to end.

My Go-To Book. I have read this book multiple times and I LOVE it! By far one of my favorites. Whenever I'm in a book slump I always reread it!

My first heartbreak. This is by far the best book I've ever read. Broke my heart a million times and I am telling you Molly McAdams, WE ARE NOT FRIENDS FOR FIVE MINUTES!!!! ;) hahaha thats what you get for breaking my heart and making me cry so hard my eyes were super puffy the next day. I just couldn't stop crying such a typical love story but the added events were just so heartbreaking. I loved ever part of it. Its been 2 days since I read that book and I still cant get over. And it is seriously my first (book) heartbreak.

From Ashes is better !!. The beginning of the book started off strong but the second half takes a turn for the worst. It dragged out for so long. Brandon was so over the top understanding and sweet it started to come off as boring and annoying. Maybe people out there who don't read often will enjoy this book but I didn't.

This book made me do things I never do.. This book made me cry, and I never cry when I read a book or watch a movie. And when I say cry I don't mean watery eyes, I mean straight up sobbing which forced me to stop reading because I couldn't see anymore. This book also forced me to write a review because it was so touching. Highly recommend.

Throat knotting feeling!. Felt as if I was there as one of the characters, couldn't keep my eyes of the pages! Love the charters must read second perspective! From chase!! Please totally worth it!!

Pretty good..... In the preview for the book I was lead to believe it was going to be a battle for who got the girl throughout the plot...not so much... It was still a really good, but I would have liked if chase lived more than half the book.

Best book by far !!!!. I read alot of romance novels and I was completely blown away by this one . It was by far the best book I've read , I was so wrapped up in each characters I could feel their pain , their happiness through their journey . This is the only book I have ever sobbed while reading I've had some books make me tear up but never literally sobbing and for the good things too. Molly mcadams you have just become my new favorite author . When you finish this book read her second one staking Harper, It gives from another characters point of view which is a nice touch . As he was my first and only choice for Harper in the beginning !!! :)

Don't read this book. It's very rare that a book actually makes me mad, but this one takes the cake. First, the author clearly steals so many plot points from Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. That book by the way is fantastic, this book is not. This author starts with an unlikable heroine and then adds a heaping dash of emotional manipulation to round out this train wreck of a book. I'm not going to give spoilers, although honesty this book is so bad it deserves to be ruined, I'll just say don't bother with this book. If you do, you've been warned.

Worst book I've ever read. This is by far the worst book I have ever read. I guess they decided to skip out on the editing because the shifts in the story made no sense whatsoever, and it annoyed me to no end that they couldn't even get the sex of the doctor correct. In one sentence it was a she and then in the other a he. I really wish I could get a refund because this was honestly the biggest waste of time.

What a book.... Let me start by saying, this was a great read. The writer did a phenomenal job at making the characters feel so real. I feel like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. This book was heart throbbing...I can't count how many times I was crying. And it really made me feel like I was in the story with them. I enjoyed this book a lot...I just wish there was an alternate ending, where the turn of events in the middle of the story, didn't happen! I would like to read another ending where the turn of events never happened! I would recommend this book...but I would also like to see a better ending. This book really set me off with the twist...

Not sure. I like triangle love story but I can't stand "cheating" :( I know it happens in the real world but when I can't stand it when my main character does it. Naturally I Iost interest in the middle of the story!!! Chase seems to be a nice guy but I'm all out for Brandon :) the underdog, the one who got hurt and still loves and forgives !!! I love to read your other book about Cassidy but I won't be able to stand if she cheats too :( I'm gonna totally regret spending my money lol !!! Goodluck though with your other books !!! Maybe if I get a "hint" that she's totally gonna end up with Tyler then maybe I'll buy them 😉😉😉

Lost me.... the book had promise, despite taking forever to get anywhere. but, a few chapters in i wanted to reach in the book and knock some sense into Harper, the main character. i read stealing harper first so I was rooting for chase until the author decided to be a total whimp and make it to where the little girl could screw up and be stupid and still have her fair tale ending. have to say, i would never read anything else by this woman.

Disappointing. Couldn't even finish reading after plot twist my heart breaks for chase!!! :(

My.new.favorite.. Okay so I've only ever done a couple of reviews but I had to for this book. Taking Chances takes you on a roller coaster that is Harpers life. I have never ever been so affected by a book. I cried and weeped through the whole book. You will fall in love with Chase Austin Grayson.

I’m talking UGLY BAWLING, sobbing like crazy, snot running out of your nose like a freaking faucet, SAD! I’m gonna slap my friend who said, “yeah it’s a good book. I bet you’ll like it. It’s a little sad.” That’s the only warning I got from her! I’m in such a depressed funk now!

Sucked. This book started off pretty good. The main character seemed strong-willed and Independent. Halfway Through this book The plot takes a nose dive. One of the best I've read. This book was amazing. Although I'm not much for books that make me cry like a baby I still really enjoyed it. I think I pretty much cried through most of it because I really felt broken hearted with Chase and Liam not ever getting to meet him. I really didn't see that coming. This book was well written and I look forward to reading more of her books soon.

Don’t waste your time. The first half of the book was great I loved the character I was invested in it. Then there is a major plot twist that rips out your heart and then it gets predictable and unrealistic. Just save your money and move on. Half way thorugh I hated it and skimmed the book and look at some reviews to see how it ended. Let me just add it ends very stupidly.

Very disappointing.. This was a disappointment to say the least. I wish I would have never read after Chase and Harper finally came together. He became a better person and yet his life was taken. Horrible. I did read to the end and while the other characters endings were wonderful. Harper ended up with the wrong man. Why couldn't the baby at least look like his dad it is like he was completely out of the book until they visit his grave at the end and the kids call him uncle Chase. Just sad and horrible. So disappointed. Read beautiful disaster and walking disaster u will not be disappointed.

Emotional. This was a very emotional book. I loved it, I hated it. Cried in a lot of places. Sometimes it felt long but it turned out to be a great story about family and love.

What a load of rubbish..... Unrealistic characters, predictable plot. Rubbish.

So emotional. This book has to be one of the most emotional books I've ever read. Heart breaking at times, but so heart warming in the same breath! Real life cam be messy, unpredictable and painful... But also can be full of happiness, joy and lots and lots of love. Taking Chances has ALL of the above emotions.... I couldn't put it down until I had finished, and is definitely a book I will recommend to everyone for a long time!!

Terrible book. Not well written, with annoying shallow characters and an unbelievable story line, no one would ever behave like these characters do in real life and there is nothing likeable about Harper to understand why men seem to fall at her feet. Anyone calling it a classic needs to read more good books!

Emotional read. Omg! I read this book in a day and half. It's fantastic. I fell in love with chase straight away. The love triangle between Harper, Chase and Brandon is epic. You can feel the love between these three. You will go through all the emotions reading this book and I'm not ashamed to say I cried my eyes out more than once whilst reading this, make sure you have tissues nearby and no kids around telling you that your silly for crying over a book. I would highly recommend this, it's quickly become one of my favourites

OH MY GOD. I cannot CANNOT fantasies enough about this book. Reluctant at first from reading the more negative reviews I decided to try it out anyways. And oh my lord. It’s rare I find a book I’m completely consumed by. When doing anything other than reading this book I couldn’t help my mind wonder to what would happen next and despite other priorities, I couldn’t help myself from finishing this book in two days. I’m only thirteen but a massive book worm and I’ve read so many books I often get confused but this book, this book I will remember and most definitely re-read. The beginning was the only downfall, it seemed a little rushed but getting into the book, sweet Jesus YOU NEED TO READ IT. NEED TO. DROP EVERYTHING AND PURCHASE THIS BLOODY BOOK. Pouring my eyes out, to laughing, to my heart feeling content, this book had it all. I’m utterly in love with this book. Not so realistic the plot but lord have I found one of my new favourite books. Please give this book a try! I know I did and I would never regret it!

LOVE IT!!! 😍. This book has topped all romance novels I have read! I was crying with happiness and in sadness and I have recommended it soo many times to friends and family. The story line isn't one I'm going to forget in a while and I can pretty much recall everything that has happened. Would definitely read it over and over again! LOVE IT!!!

I would suggest it!. I'm one if those people that find it hard to discover a book that they can really enjoy. But even though I had my doubts at first I soon got gripped into the story, it takes you through an emotional roller coaster and I personally found it hard to put down. I would certainly recommend it!

Wow! The emotions..... I truly loved this book and it constantly kept me on edge. Despite one or two of the events being quite predictable I thought it was usually surprising. Towards the middle I cried so much... Who knew you could get such an emotional connection with these characters. I loved nearly everything about this book! Wow good book. Very addictive read and intense relationships! Loved it! Only criticism is it could of ended a bit sooner, found the last few chapters dragged on and it was tough to finish! Gonna read another of the authors books tho so not all bad!!

Taking chances. I loved this book I finished it in 8 hours and stayed up till 6am to finish it, sad I know but I couldn't put it down. I couldn't predict the ending so I just had to keep reading. The storyline didn't go the direction I would of hoped for but still a enjoyable book making me laugh and cry. Worth a read :)

The writing is amazing and it is with out a doubt the best book I have read so far. Molly McADams is such a talented writer and Stealing Harper is also amazing. Wish I didn't read. Brilliant story to begin with fell completely in love with this book until half way through when I could no longer read on. After the events what happen after the death I found the story unbearable to read I began to hate the main character and therefor could not read on. Wish I never began to read it in the first place as I fell completely for the book and the ended up really hating it.

One of the best debut novels I've ever read.. Oh. My. Word. This has to be one of the best debut novels I've ever read. Short of Harper being told she's a witch and being sent to Hogwarts with Harry Potter, pretty much everything that could possibly happen in this book does... There are ups and downs, heartbreak and tragedy, two guys and a whole lot of sweetness! Harper is the perfect character for this story; cute, feisty, gorgeous and yet completely oblivious to it. I don't envy her in the slightest though - I wouldn't like to have to choose between Chase and Brandon. Chase and Brandon both have elements of the fantastic Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster) in their characters; tough guys on the outside but sweet and caring on the inside. I love that they both totally adore Harper to the point that they're each willing to step back and break their own hearts to make her happy. For me, the sweetest parts of the book come from the two, supposed tough guys - Chase's reaction to Harper's news and Brandon's declaration of love the day after the graduation party. I think it was very brave of the author to include the tragic event of chapter 13 in the story. A lot of books come close to this type of storyline but then never follow through with it. Whilst I was absolutely gutted by what happened, not only because of what happened but the timing of it too, I really enjoyed the remainder of the book. The way a certain character behaved after that event was admirable and the story which they told to Liam was truly heartwarming. (Apologises if this doesn't make an awful lot of sense but I was determined not to include a spoiler!) Favourite quote: "'If you think acting like you don't exist isn't the hardest thing I've ever done, you're wrong. I hate not talking to you, I hate not bickering like we're an old married couple and I hate not spending every day right next to you.'"

Dont spoil it. I haven't bloody read it and because of some stupid idiots the story is ruined GOD A REVIEW IS MEANT TO TELL YOU HOW GOOD A STORY IS NOT SPOIL IT SO REFRAIN FROM WRITING SPOILERS OK UGH!

Wow wow wow. This book is a must get, read it twice now and just brought chases side of it!so exited to read it!never cried at a book so much. Loved both chase and Brandon was so shocked at the end but saw it coming..in a way I wish it didnt end that way but in the end everyone was happy I guess. Great read. Loved this book, I could not put it down, however I found the ending to be quiet boring and disappointing.

Thank you Molly McAdams!. This book is my everything! I couldn't help but, fall in love with the characters. I laughed when they laughed. I cried when they cried. As soon as I picked up this book, I was taken by the mesmerising words, beautiful characters and overall story plot. I absolutely love this book and I cannot thank Molly McAdams enough for writing this amazing story of a love that never dies. Whether you are Team Brandon or Team Chase - you will not be disappointed! This book makes my heart happy and I am forever grateful that it is in my life!

Disappointing. Falling in love with two people is a ridiculous story line. Her best friend admits he’s in love with her and she treats him like dirt. Cheating on Brandon who is a wonderful character and then sleeping with Chase when he has admitted to being in love with her and then going back to Brandon is a low act. She only decides to choose Chase when she falls pregnant.

AMAZING!. Could not put down, I cried so hard and then laughed so hard! Loved every moment of this book!

INCLUDES A SPOILER: This wasn't the worst book I've ever read but at the same time I really wasn't very impressed, it ended for me when one of the main character leaves the story. it just dragged on from there. I felt really sad after reading this and I really prefer feeling happy after reading a love story, but then again nothing in life is certain which makes the story more real I guess.

Amazing.. I can’t get this book out of my head. It is definitely one of my favourite reads so far. It was hard to relate to becasue of the peculiar situation with her family and attraction to two people at once but I found it wonderful and I finished it much too fast for my liking. Loved it!

All time favourite book!!. This book is absolutely captivating. As a teenager I’ve read it over a dozen times. The author draws you in and makes you feel like you’re part of the story, like you‘re there. It’s compelling and overall amazing. Every event feels like you’re experiencing it and it’s pure gold. Ludicrous. Real people do not behave like that. It's like they were all stoned throughout. It needed a touch of reality to make it work but they were all too loved up to be believable.

OH. MY. GOD.. I read this book in 2 days. I was absolutely hooked as soon as I started reading it. I loved the twists and turns but more then anything I loved the connections and meanings behind everything. I recommend this book to everyone!!

I got this book for free and feel like I should be paid for the time I wasted reading this jSPOILER...... For some reason everybody (the college students) in this book has money (lots of it). The 2 hottest guys both fight over the same boring, self centred, self entitled brat, having a baby at 18 is glorified and education is thrown away to do this and the virgin brat mentioned above falls in love with the 2 hot guys mentioned above at the same time and cheats on her over the top lovey dovey boyfriend who ends up forgiving her and begging for her back. This book is a fantasy of what someone (the author) wishes their life to be like.... RIDICULOUS oh and the happy ending???? Everybody under the age of 22 gets pregnant and/or married.... Smh

Take a chance read this book. I loved this book, it was so perfect and emotional. This book broke my heart and i cried so much, you need to read it. It had a great story line and twists that omg i'll ruien it if i go on but the point is that i loved while i hated for making me stay up all night crying.

Water works!. I started reading this book under the impression that I'd be crying from page 1. That didn't happen. Instead, I fell in love with all the characters. It's not that often that an author can make you connect with their characters but this author certainly has done that. I started crying half way through the book and didn't stop. This book was meant to be a quick read before I went to bed. 9 hours later, I'd cried enough to fill a jar and the book was done!

AAHH MAZ ING. This book was amazing! I couldn't put it down. If anyone wants a good book to read, choose this! It will make you laugh, smile and cry!

Wth is this?. I've only read 200 pages and this book is already starting to annoy me.. Don't like the main character Harper and from what I've read she only gets worse..Only bought this book cause it had good reviews but I don't see what the fuss is all about.. Gonna try and finish this but it just doesn't seem worth my time.So far the storyline is unbelievable and unrealistic.Characters are Too annoying..

A little too much. I enjoyed the first half of this book but then found it got predictable and just went on a little too long, I know it's fiction but just a little too unbelievable for me...

Loved it. I had trouble putting this book down. Great read.

Pretty slutty for a homeschooled virgin. Harper's character is pretty unbelievable. Homeschooled her whole life with a strict emotionally-stunted career marine father, never been on a date, and the same day she meets her boyfriend, she's wrapping her legs around him at a party in front of everyone? And that's after she's already slept in a bed with a guy she's just met! Nothing lady-like about Harper. Oh, and this book is about her dating one guy but cheating on him with the worse breed of man possible. What a "totes-awesomesauce" character!!

Surprisingly compelling. There were several editing errors ("dragged", not "drug"; "ensure", not "insure") and it was distractingly unrealistic at times, but I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the time cuts, and thought it painted a decent picture of the world it was portraying.

taking chances. I hope that one day that Molly Mcadams will read my review and others and understand how much of great book it was. When i started to read this book i could not get my head out of it it took me in an emotional journey it was as if i was there with harper though everything. I would always hurry to eat my dinner so i could start reading again, i would stay up untill 1am in the morning and wake up at 9am to contiune the book. I really wish it never ended, i am now reading stealing harper and the sleepless nights continue as i have to force myself to sleep because all i want to do is read more. it hurts me thats chace died but i know that he is watching over little liam and i am very greatful that brendon and harper still contiune to tell him about chase, i loved that book very very much. i hope it contiunes and it was kind of a bumber when chase died though

Don't read. From the reviews it sounded like a really good book...how quickly I was disappointed. The plot was all over the place and nothing made sense. It felt like it was written by a teenager. I understood the whole in love with two guys thing but it would have been a touch better if the main character did not die. Didn't like the book and won't be reading the 2nd book. And won't be recommending to anyone.

Repetitive. I suffer the curse of having to finish all I start, this may have almost cured me. Got very boring and repetitive and had little substance despite a promising start. Could have been so much more, but alas, was one of the worst books I've read.

Taking Chances - OMG. Don't usually write reviews, but wow. This book made me so emotional. It is a wonderful wonderful book! I can't recommend it enough.

Loooved it. I really loved this book as much as Molly's other book from ashes. Did have to put it down for awhile to stop the tears at a really sad part though, but would recommend this

Average. This book was amazing... Up until thy decided to kill one of the main characters off!!! Then the book just went on and on with at least 6 completely pointless chapters that held on real storyline or direction. It was like the author just wanted to make the word count larger, so she decided to add some extra chapters with no real storyline.

So sad!. This book is by far the saddest book I have ever read! With so many twists and turns it just got better! This book is one of the best books I have had in my hands and I never wanted it to end. i am so glad it was a longer book as the author made it so worth the length! This book will leave you crying all night for a week(happy and sad tears) but oh my word is it worth it! I would Highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good love story with a twist! Please read to the end it makes the book complete, even though it was tough to keep reading through tears the book won't let you down!

An amazing story. This is the first time I actually write a review for a book (and believe me I have read lots) but this story in particular made me really get into each character life and I actually felt like I was there with each one of them. An amazing love story with a bit of humour and some drama. I love this book and now I'm reading Chase's side of the story :) Chrystal
