Guilt by Jonathan Kellerman Book Summary

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • “The combination of Alex Delaware [and] Detective Milo Sturgis . . . makes for the most original whodunit duo since Watson and Holmes.”—Forbes

In an upscale L.A. neighborhood, a backyard renovation unearths an infant’s body, buried sixty years ago. Soon thereafter, in a nearby park, another disturbingly bizarre discovery is made not far from the body of a young woman shot in the head. Helping LAPD homicide detective Milo Sturgis to link these eerie incidents is brilliant psychologist Alex Delaware. But even the good doctor’s vast experience with matters both clinical and criminal might not be enough to cut down to the bone of this chilling case. Backtracking six decades into the past stirs up tales of a beautiful nurse with a mystery lover, a handsome, wealthy doctor who seems too good to be true, and a hospital with a notorious reputation—all of them long gone, along with any records of a newborn, and destined for anonymity. But the specter of fame rears its head when the case unexpectedly twists in the direction of the highest echelons of celebrity privilege. Entering this sheltered world, Alex little imagines the macabre layer just below the surface—a decadent quagmire of unholy rituals and grisly sacrifice.

Guilt. Love Mr Kellerman's books. I find them great and entertaining reading.

Guilt. Boring and predictable. Don't bother reading this book.

It's OK. Not too thrilled about this book. I lost my train of thoughts at times. It was too lengthy when not needed and boring at times.

Another psychological thriller. Once again, Jonathan Kellerman manages to humanize characters with quirks. His work reminds us not to stop at first impressions and understand that, while there are monsters in the world, most of us are just doing our best.

Guilt. By boysmumas Not one of Kellerman's best.. Too many characters caused havoc with the plot. If you put the book down for any reason it's difficult to get back into it. Lots of loose ends which were left hanging and not explained. The ending was predictable. Save your money on this one.

Not impressed. Love Kellerman but this was terrible. Very anti-climatical.

Guilt. It took me awhile to get into the author's style of writing, but I did and I really liked this book. I would recommend this to anyone that like a murder mystery with a twist. Not the usual tale.

Awful. I am Kellerman Family fan and this book was awful. I can't believe it even got published. Sorry.

Guilt. Great book. Expected nothing less! Loved it can't wait for the next Alex Delaware!
