Love this story and series!. Liliana Hart's A Dirty Shame is the second book in the J.J. Graves Mysteries!!! I love this story! This book is full of suspense and romance with a bit of laughter to keep you grinning. J.J., after suffering a near death experience, returns to her home in a small town only to drive up on a body chained to a tree. She is a physician turned county corner/mortician. Your heart goes out to her as she believes she is better off dead. Her lifelong best friend, Jack is the sheriff, and he strives to show her just how wrong s he is. So much unfolds as this story progresses and ties together several murders with one very unsuspecting accomplice. The last sentence of the book literally took my breath away, and I cannot wait for Dirty Rotten Scoundrel to be released 11/5/2013 to see what happens!!!

A must read. Captivating. I couldn’t put the book down, read it all at once.

Wrong book. I expect a refund as the book which downloaded is not the book I purchased. I also expect that the correct book will be offers fo me for free.

Mistake at end of book. When they are walking to the barn she leaves her gun at home while walking to barn then when he shoots out the side of barn her gun magically appears big over sight need a better proof reader that just ruined this series for me

Good read. Thoroughly enjoyable. Good characterizations and easy to get engrossed. Will definitely look for more of her books.

Dirty Shame. I love Lilliana’s books but for some reason the way she ends them is like she either has gotten tired of writing or she just does not know how to end the book. The book is full of suspense but then whammo... you are in shock because its over. Please please please Lilliana look at how you end your books and take time to add more to the characters that are guilty stop doing what I call a “Dump” ending.

Great mystery and a great novel. Second book I’ve read from this author and I have to say that I am trully impressed. The characters are very well written, the plot keeps you in suspense. Most mysteries are unfortunately so predictable, but not this story. Highly recommend - loved JJ & Jack - can’t wait to read the 3rd book.

Great Read. This is great read but I feel some parts we're boring . I love all the secret we find about JJ . I love that her and jack finally get together . The end was kind of rush . I had to go back and read it over. It's was to much information for one chapter ..

Updated to completely different book. Like so many others, I tried to read this book again and the update installed a different book. It’s very disappointing that this is not fixed!

Wrong book. I bought this book, read it and enjoyed it, however this is not the book I had purchased. For some reason I received a book of ash and fire instead of a dirty shame. I would like to actually read what I had paid for.

A dirty shame. Watch out! I bought this after reading the sample and it’s not the same book! It uploaded a book called Fire and Ash I am trying to get my money back

Good story but .... The story and writing is good, but the author seems to have trouble remembering how many characters she's killed off. In the beginning she writes there were only three deaths in the 1st book - there were four. Then she misquotes the number of deaths at the end of this story as well. I also found the overly sappy dialog between JJ and Jack tedious at times. A little sap goes a long way. Additionally, the ending felt very rushed. Parts of it could have been worked into the next book (or at least explored further in this one) instead of throwing it all in like an afterthought at the end.

Update gave me the wrong book. I was reading this book awhile back and I decided to finish it. When I opened it said there was an update. So I updated and now it’s a completely different book! How do I get the original back?

Loved A Dirty Shame. Just finished the 2nd book in the series A Dirty Shame & it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to continue the journey of Jack & J.J. in the next book. Very impressed with Lillian Hart as a writer.

Good but seriously so inconsistent. I’ve enjoyed the twists and turns of the mystery, but I can seriously write a list of inconsistency in this book vs the first one. If I’m not mistaken, her attempted murder and Brody’s murder took place at the funeral home.. so why the aversion to her house? Nothing happened there.. I’m certain I remember jack picking her up off the floor in the fist book and kissing her face and her lips and her mentioning she felt nothing.. but in this book supposedly there was a connection? Kind of annoying

Enjoyed this book too. This 2nd book of the JJ Graves Series was enjoyable to read. The author makes it easy to get to know the characters.

Oh my!. Killer Mystery solved…or was it? The story just keeps you sucked in and keeps you guessing what is next. JJ finally returns and knows her heart. There is still a mystery of her past life and of her parents she can’t get passed. I love, love the way Liliana Hart writes. It’s very meticulous and lets you see it, whether the crime scene or the mind processing information. This series is an addiction! READ THEM🔥❤️

Is this a different book?. I went to read a few chapters into the last book (book one) and the story doesn’t seem to be the same. Any one else having issues with this? I honestly thought it would continue with JJ and jack but they are completely different people

Jack-of-all-trades !!. Good beginning , then they discovered their ‘love’ , then they discovered their ‘lust’ and that was it . If they’d put the same effort into solving the crimes as they did into their ‘love-life’ it would have all been over by chapter three .!! Disappointing ....

Updated book. Well, was 5/5 but went back to re read the series only to find some of the romance scenes have been removed or changed. I think it now looses some of the story of how the 2 main characters relationship grew/grows.

Great book. I read the first book last week and really liked it so started book 2 last night. This book was even better than the first, which I find interesting as the second instalments aren't usually as good. There was fantastic character and plot development from the first book. The crime was great in this book and had me interested from the first few pages. Can't wait to read the third book... It's downloading now :)
