Thank you, Rick Warren, for helping to start a revival in my life!. From the beginning of reading, "The Purpose Driven Life," I have felt a glorious peace fill my spirit. It was as if my spirit was dry and withered and the words that Rick wrote poured God's life-giving water over me until I was quenched and alive once more. Thank you, Rick, for writing God's truths in ways that almost seemed brand-new to me, reminding me in fresh new ways of God's wisdom and grace for me. I am so grateful to have finally submerged myself into this life-changing book and am eager to adopt as many principles as I am able into my life. As well as continue on my journey of living my life to please God. Thank you for providing personal support and continued teachings for us to follow.

Amazing book, you should read it. That's one of the best books I ever read. Very practical, lots of great insights and very biblical. People are often disconnected from everything in their lives, and this book goes straight to the point: we lack a purpose and only God can fulfill the gap.

Must Read. I read this book after my freshman year in college. In which I deleted all social media and stopped carriages about the large amount of “followers”. In fellowship with God it felt so good to let go and grow, not only did I finish the print version of this book, but I donated it to the local nursing home. It definitely provided a piece of the puzzle to reflect during my freshman year, so thankful that God placed this art from the author across my path.

One of the greatest books. This book is a life changer. It has the wisdom that you need to point you in the right direction. The question that remains is “Are you and I going to benefit from this book and pursue our purpose, or just put it on a shelf and continue living life the way we always have?”

Heartfelt and comforting!. This book explains that God had us in his mind before we were in the womb. That our life here on earth is not our home; eternity in heaven is! It is so comforting in knowing that! :)

Life changing book. Best book I’ve ever read! Gonna read again!!

Difficult. I am interested in expanding my discovery of God. But so far I've found this book difficult to grasp. It's a bit off putting and if you value humility and an open mind I'm not sure this is the right book for you.

Excellent book. This book is a call to Christian living that makes your purpose on earth very clear. I was moved by this to be more Christ focused and stop living a selfish life. This was the best study I have ever done.

Life changing. Happiness is a choice and stop being a people pleaser were two of the biggest take always from the book. I’d recommend this book too anyone looking for their life’s purpose l.

Swindled audiobook purchaser. The Purpose Driven Life is one of the most life changing books I have ever read right up there with The Art of War. Sadly I have recently discovered to my utter dismay, outrage and disappointment that my the audiobook copy I purchased in April 2020 was pulled from my Library. Pastor Rick Warren, I do not understand how you can condone such an egregious violation of people’s rights. I considered this audiobook a precious masterpiece, a gem and gift and to be fair I gave it a perfect score but just as you said “an unopened gift is useless” and now that I can no longer have access to my book my gift is useless to me isn’t. What a crying shame!

What on Earth Am I here for ?. A must read for Everyone.

Vital Doctrines Are Missing. My wife and I were given this New York Times Bestseller several years ago, and I read it a couple of times. The book is designed to be read over a course of 40 days, which I did in my first reading, but in my second reading, I completed it in a few days. The Purpose Driven Life answers life's most important question: What on earth am I here for? If you don't know the answer, reading Warren's book will provide you the answer in a way that is easy to understand. Even if you are a Christian, this book provides some wise counsel that can help you live life for the glory of God. Unfortunately, there are some major elements lacking in this book. Vital doctrines that are missing include man's sinfulness and our need for a Savior, the substitute sacrifice of the sinless Christ who bore our sin on the cross. For a serious critique of Rick Warren's Purpose Drive Life (from a reformed perspective), I highly recommend visiting Tim Challies' blog.

Opened my eyes.. Was tired of wandering and wondering... Am hopeful now of my Purpose!

The purpose driven life. I was glad reading the book from start to finish! Reading each word with intention and attention knowing that those words were not only written because the publisher needs to write a new book, but because he cared for me, my well being, and he was praying for me while I was reading the book. First time reading a book in the fullest, after I decided to finish reading my bible for the first time from Genesis to Revelation! The words in the book have transformed me! And as I am writing this transformation is not superficial but like when a house needs to be built amd there is a need to do some great works in order to prepare a place for the foundation! Read it you will be made new!
