Hipo and Gorilla.. I like this book.It's all about donuts.

Donuts. Donuts missed the mark for being anything but slightly entertaining. A gluttonous hippo stuffs himself sick with too many donuts and is no wiser after the fact. Even with Gorilla's help in distracting his attention, nothing is taught or learned, as seen by hippo's behavior. As a nutrition educator for children, I believe this book could have been very effective in teaching healthy behavior changes.

Spectacular. My husband downloaded this book for something different to read at nighttime & we have had to buy all the books because my son (just turned 4) could not get enough. The narration was fantastic, the illustration awesome, really fun & beautiful & the stories always eliciting huge laughs. Life with a kid that's favorite word may very well be "again" can be rough but these stories stand up to repeat readings. We will keep an eye out for the rest of the series. It's simply the best.

Bryan Langdo's best work!. This book is brilliant. The intricate language and use of precise diction is perfect for this type of a novel. The hippo is a very complex protagonist accompanied perfect deuteragonist, Gorilla. It is a must read and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic Book. Funny and relatable.. I’ve used this book many times as a learning tool with young non-native English speaking children. Each child found the book enjoyable and easy to follow. The scenes and characters are very relatable, thus, I found it very handy.

The reader changes his voice for differ characters and reads fluently. I highly recommend this book and I will probably purchase others!
