No paragraphs. The lack of paragraphs makes this a chore to read.

Not as advertised. This is advertised as the complete Sherlock Holmes. It is not complete. It includes the contents of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes, the memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, and the return of Sherlock Holmes, as well as the four novels and His last bow. It does not include any of the short stories from the casebook of Sherlock Holmes such as illustrious client and sussex vampire. The formatting is terrible, which I could’ve forgiven to have the entire collection to carry around in my pocket. Alas no such luck. I’m glad I didn’t pay more than four dollars.

Totally enjoyed this book. I personally did not learn to read until I was eight years old. I had been adopted at 7 3/4 so to speak and then went to school from that point on. Because I couldn’t read or write my parents hired a tutor to teach me how to read and to teach me my letters. One thing this lady day and was teach me to love to read. By the time I was 12 years old I was Reading at a college level. And my great fondness for Sherlock Holmes is what kept me at it. From the Sherlock Holmes stories I learned to be observant as well as a reasoning at what I was looking at. So it was a gift that has lasted me all my life. I am now 74 years old and still enjoy stories I haven’t read since I was a young man. Thank You for allowing this little critique of this Sherlock Holmes serious of short stories. PTG

Poor formatting. Thrown together.. The formatting of this book is terrible. Each story is a single paragraph. Very hard to read this way. I believe all the Sherlock stories are here, but they are not organized in any way. It would be better if they were organized in the order they first appeared (for example).

Avoid due to terrible formatting. As others have said, this book is unreadable simply due to formatting issues. There are no line breaks even between dialogue. Unfortunately my money is wasted.

Terrible. Don't buy this.. It literally has no paragraph breaks. None. Ever. Each story is a solid block of text. On top of that, there are tons of punctuation errors. But the WORST part is that I was reading Boscombe Valley and on the last page, the story cut off in the middle of a sentence!! I never got to actually read the ending!

We shall see.... The description of this edition of Sherlock Holmes seems quite promising...I'm looking forward to reading it!!!!

awesome. this book is great the language is old fashioned and a little hard to understand but the writing and characters are great. sad to have it end
