The Rich Man and Lazarus by E W Bullinger Book Summary
It is the author’s contention that when dealing with the subject of what happens at death, it is important that Christians confine themselves to what the Bible has to say and turn neither to experiences nor to tradition. Experiences differ greatly and often contradict each other.
Also, some traditional Christian doctrine has more in common with the teachings of the Pharisees than with those of our Lord Jesus Christ and what is in the Bible. This is true of Luke 16:19-31, The Rich Man and Lazarus, and in this publication we have reprinted Josephus’ discourse to the Greeks, informing them what the Pharisees taught concerning hades.
With an extensive use of both Scripture and traditional sources, Dr. Bullinger places the evidence before the reader.
