I love this character!!!. Got this as a Bookbub freebie a while back, and finally got around to reading it. I love the storyline, I love the characters, it was definitely a can't-put-down kind of book for me! Great action scenes, and not as predictable as a lot of stories in this genre. I did NOT see that ending coming. Can't wait to get the rest in the series.

Laughing all the way.... Coming from a small southern town I can totally identify with Addison Holmes. I couldn't stop laughing. I might actually have to finish reading this series now.

A fun mystery. This was a fun, enjoyable mystery with a main character that you can relate to--I mean, who doesn't like ice cream. Addison is a likable character with moxie and I wanted her to succeed in her new career. And Nick sounds yummy. I will look for future Addison Holmes mysteries.

Can’t believe I kept reading this to the end. This book was cringeworthy bad. I had to stop in the middle to make sure this book wasn’t written by or for teenagers. The main character was unbelievably immature and the whole book was horribly written. Sorry for the negativity but I just had to say it.

Good for some laughs.. While it’s hard to believe anyone is as accident prone as the heroine, her antics were laugh out loud funny.

So funny. I was drawn to this series because I'm a sucker for things that have my name in it. I LOVED EVERY BOOK. Laugh out loud funny. I read at night before I go to sleep and my body would shake the whole bed from me trying to hold in my laughter.

Delightful. What can I say but that this is a female detective wannabe story that will have you glued to your seat. As entertaining as a Stephanie Plum novel without the language. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Hated it!. Good grief, the main character is so unbelievably annoying I wanted to kill her myself. Is she seriously supposed to be a 30 year old teacher? She acted like a bratty 13 year old with an overinflated opinion of herself.

Fun Read!. From the beginning, you can't help but love Addison Holmes. This was my first book written by Liliana Hart and it most definitely won't be my last. I can't wait to read what Addison does in the next book.

A Southern version of Stephanie Plum. A fun read. Definitely doing Stephanie Plum , Savannah style. Out of work single woman becomes disaster prone P.I. Hot for sexy police detective, tall dark and dangerous. Manages to survive ridiculous situations. But I'm on book three so it must be good !

Whiskey Rebellion was a bit sour. This book got a love/hate review from me. At times it was too stupid, at times it made me laugh and at times I loved the story. Maybe read another book by this author if it is free, otherwise, probably not buy another book by this author.

Great read!. I love a good mystery and a good romance novel. This book is a little of both.. the main character is funny and sporadic.

History With A Twist, A Turn & A Whip(?!). What a roller coaster of a ride! The lead character is Stephanie Plum on steroids! Whiskey Rebellion is such a fun read and, luckily, it’s the first book in a series! If you want to chuckle and laugh out loud then you should definitely read this! I can’t wait to dive into Whiskey Sour, the next book in this series!

Fun town. This book was so funny! The mystery solving was very good. But the banter with characters was at times hilarious. Addison is so awkward I enjoyed this book immensely very Uplifting.

Some fun but irritating.. The heroine is dangerously irresponsible and not believable as a detective. The unsatisfied lust she and the police detective feel for each is treated with humor but interferes with the mystery. If you want titillation this may be for you but look elsewhere if you are a serious mystery fan.

Big disappointment. I have read other liliana. Oops and have enjoyed them but I just couldn’t get pass page 250 of this one. The main character was just to idiotic and ridiculous.

Silly but funny suspense. There was a great story line with lots of suspense but with comical events. Lots of laughs too.

Best author. BEST SERIES I'VE EVER READ.

Irritating. Not a main character that I can appreciate or enjoy. If inept and poor decisions are your cup of tea, you’ll love this character.

Whiskey Sour, etc. Your books are too much like Janet Evonavichs's Stephanie Plum series.

Whiskey. Lots of action but a little over the top in believeability of recovery from her mishaps. Anyone suffering that many accidents would have been in the grave, especially a morphine shot to the back of the neck. She is pretty loose for a teacher, anyone pulling her stunts should never be allowed around teenagers.

Whiskey Rebellion. Lilliana Hart is one of my favorite authors: Once I started reading this book I found it difficult to put down. Finish one chapter and you had to jump in to the next.

Disappointing. Fun book, but some reality has to exist. To many over the top, unbelievable things happen over and over. I'll stick with Stephanie Plum.

What a hoot!. This is one of the few books that actually made me laugh out loud. You feel for and can relate for the most part to the character. Her mom is such a hoot. Addison is that one friend that you have that drives you crazy most of the time but is such a kick in the pants he wouldn’t give her up for the world. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Funny, steamy, suspenseful!. This book was amazing! The writing style of Liliana Hart gets you hooked into the story and makes you not want to put the book down. The comedic tone of Addison makes her character more relatable to the everyday woman. I looked like a crazy lady when I read this book in a public place because at some parts I had tears of laughter streaming down my face. Then at other times I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what was going to happen to this accident-prone woman! I would give this book and author 10 stars if I could!

Whiskey Rebellion-good fun read!. Enjoyed the main character-Addison-and her humor very much, although if she remains as clumsy in the series as here it will get old. The author has some great turns of phrase in her descriptions-laughed out loud often. Wish there had been a tad more depth when the 'whodunnit' became apparent. This an author whose other books in the series I will definitely read. Enjoy!

Pretty good. I really do like the series but I keep finding myself skipping chunks of sections. 6 books in I don’t want to keep reading about the introduction backgrounds of major characters.

Whiskey Revellion. Many parts of this book were quite amusing!

14 yr old heroine. The main character is 30 years old but has the emotional responses and logic of a 14 year old girl. She was annoying and the whole story was overblown stupidity. I was amazed that she could maintain a friendship or a job. She was not teacher nor detective material. More of a three stooges story.

I read the JJ Graves series and was instantly hooked (I'm now dying to read the next one) I was tired of waiting for the next JJ book so I decided to try this series.. Big mistake.. I can not put them down!! I am now on the 4th book and it's only been 4 days since I started the series!! I absolutely love your style and can not recommend enough!!!

A very entertaining read. I highly recommend this book to everyone who appreciates quirky humour. I found myself laughing out loud on the bus many times. It is certainly not as hot as many of Liliana's previous novels, but still a real pleasure. I am very happy to see that this is the start of a series, so I can spend more time with Addison and her wonderful Mother. Hopefully she will be more lucky in love during the second book too!

Another Well Written Novel from Hart. Good plot, juicy internal dialogue for the protagonist, Addison and the mother I always wanted (and hope to be to my daughter lol). I finished up reading this in public and copped many looks for my giggling like a madman. Although different pro tag’s, I put Hart’s Addison Holmes in the Rose Gardener group for wit, plot and sexy man toys. Also recommend Hart’s Dirty.. series. Loved them as well.

Fun and Entertaining!. Oh my God! I don't think I have laughed so much reading a book before and this is meant to be an action novel! Liliana combines her excellent talent of writing action thrillers & hot passion with a touch of humour I was pleasantly surprised with. Loved the book as always Liliana rocks. She definitely is one of my favourite authors currently.

Brainless. I enjoy fiction that shows the character has some intelligence and believable. This is not.

Hilarious Klutz. Living life large whilst being a major klutz - both in life and love. This led to laughs on almost every page, and injuries to match! How can one survive being a klutz and making poor choices? Not quite sure - but she still manages to snag a gorgeous man!

How much trouble ??. How much trouble can one female get into? It seems to find her. Both plausible and implausible at the same time. Style of writing is good, enjoyed the premise but storyline lost it along the way, perhaps too much going on with with all the PI cases, the mother coming into it didn't work for me, she didn't want to be with her Mom hence the reason she was living in a dump, a bit bah humbug and a contradiction.

Loved it.. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the second. Addison Holmes is a crack up, I love how her personality shines through- you could be talking over coffee (or ice cream) with her. The tension with Nick has left me very frustrated but in a good way :). Very clever book. Highly recommend it.

No relationship to Sherlock this highschool history teacher become part-time sleuth who continually finds herself in odd situations. Some with a good looking Dective. If you're a fan of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series you'll fall in love with Addison Holms. Liliana Hart keeps the reader guessing with twists and surprises. Can’t wait to read the next book.

BEST READ, HIGHLY SUGGESTED. Great book. I fell in love with Liliana Hart when i first read Dirty Little Secrets (also a fantastic read) and i fell in love impossibly more.
