The Gods of Guilt. Another great yarn by Connelly, who continues to write great courtroom and police drama. An excellent read.

Suspenseful. Great read, kept me reading all night! Liked the other ending and the thought process, but the books first ending was perfect. Much more believable. Even if it’s a movie, I would go with the first ending. Loved it.

Great book!. Lasts of plot twists and engaging side stories. It’s hard to put it down. It was so good, I used a sick day to finish it.

Couldn’t Do It.. Read a third of it and stopped. Confusing at the start and just couldn’t get into it. Liked his first four a lot.

Uneven,but basically a good twisty story. To me, this was not his best. I am more a character reader than a plot reader, and so I read this kind of book for the fast paced mindlessness of it. This was not a mindless read as it had all the Twists and turns of court drama, some gratuitous violence, and some interesting strategies.

Great!. Michael Connelly never fails to weave an exciting tale. His characters are always spot on and the amount of research he does is obvious in every one of his books. Can't get enough. I thoroughly enjoyed the dual endings--it gave a little insight as to how this master story teller thinks.

The Gods of Guilt. Anytime Michael Connelly writes about defense attorney Mickey Haller I have to read it. He never disappoints and this newest book holds true to form. It grabs your interest immediately and keeps you "hooked" until the last page. A must read if you like legal thrillers.

Wow. This book was a fun ride! It kept my attention beyond my time limits to read. I could hardly wait to return to the world of the Lincoln Lawyer. As to the "bonus" chapter. I preferred the shootout...lots of action. (And, why does everything have to be believable? It's fiction from start to finish, right?

Utterly Brilliant. At times a bit confusing because the arc of the story is unclear, but Connelly wraps it up brilliantly by the shocking -- even moving --end.

As usual, this author is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to read!! He is awesome!!. The author has a method of telling the story to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

Keeps you glued to the story, you think you know what is going to happen next then he throughs you a curve and your off stunned thinking omg never saw that coming. Loved every second not a dull moment in the book. Had to force myself to stop reading and got to bed. LOL

Awesomeness. This book "Gods of Guilt," needs to be made into a movie!!! Great read, would be awesome to see it on the big screen one day!!

The Gods of Guilt. -- Excellllllllent!. Riveting. I hated to stop reading but had work to do. This character would make a great tv series.....better than the Perry Mason remake.

Gods of Guilt. As usual Michael Connelly grabs you by the arms and pulls you into the life of the Lincoln Lawyer. In this book we see much of the heart of Michael Haller and his pure need to see justice done. We feel his sense of guilt, his passion for truth and his response to personal losses. I always wait patiently (?) for the next book, hoping they are not weekly books knocked out for the $$ they bring because he will lose me as an avid fan if he turns into Robert Patterson whom I used to love to read. Keep it up Michael. You're doing great!

Another Extra Base Hit!. As with every Connelly book I've read--and I've read almost all of them--this was a page turner that I could hardly put down. While I prefer the tortured and driven Harry Bosch to the glib and somewhat self righteous attorney Haller, the Lincoln Lawyer-series is as good showing the ambiguities of trial work as it is with law enforcement, while bringing real characters to life in fascinating tales. Sorry for the reality that Harry is getting old enough that further adventures will be hard to credibly craft, but old lawyers never die.

Loved it!. When I read the first installment in the Lincoln Lawyer series I was hooked by Mick Haller. I enjoy Connelly's first person writing style, which seemed even more realistic in this book because of the way he expertly wove comments about The Lincoln Lawyer movie. I hope The Gods of Guilt isn't the final book in this series!

Gods of Guilt. I love the Mickey Haller series. I have trouble with the guilt he carries and the anger from his ex-wife and daughter. Our courts are built on prosecutor and defense lawyers, he has a necessary and vital role in our judicial system. I would like to see him satisfied with the job he does. I hope he is moving on from his ex-wife.

Great Read. A page turner which can thus interfere with your sleep schedule. But the fun is worth it.

Fantastic. Michael Connelly is the best! Loved every minute of it!

Exciting and hard to put down. The characters in this book became very real very early on to me, and I found it hard to put down. It led me on a behind-the-scenes journey into the lives of those who have to put themselves in danger to discover the proof behind the truth.

Letdown. By far and away the weakest effort from Connelly to date. Rambling, and way too "clever". I wouldn't at all be surprised if it was ghost written. I found myself having to psyche up to finish it off. Very disappointing.

Court case. I enjoy this author. This book of his many drags a bit because court room procedure can only move so fast. Thanks for the two endings. Both different but same result.

Mr. Connelly Does Not Disappoint!. Just when he needs it, Mickey Haller gets a case where his client is not simply "not guilty" ( I hesitate to call his client innocent), but the case has lots of intricate twists and turns and an extremely satisfying ending. Haller exposes corrupt cops and wins the day, plus he goes a long way in repairing some important personal relationships. Michael Connelly has another winner. Harry Bosch even makes a brief cameo!

Best of All Connolly’s Novels. I’ve ready each of the authors books and loved them all. However, this book was his most brilliant work in my opinion. It was a riveting page-turner. The characters were awesome. And the title, Gods of Guilt, has many shades of meaning.

Intense. This book laid the plan out executed very well. I I'm a huge fan of crime fiction and this plays out really well into the subject. There's never really a dull moment to the book. As soon as you believe to have stumbled upon something to be boring;something happens.

Haller is back. Another great novel in the Lincoln Lawyer series. If you enjoyed the others, this will not disappoint. The only negative was that it ended. Hopeful for another Haller adventure

What a read. Great court room drama. One of Connelly's best as Mickey Haller and his team pull out all the stops. The suspense really built throughout the book and I couldn't put it down as the conclusion drew near. Thanks Michael for this top notch story.
