Amazing. I have read numerous books by Nicholas Sparks. Yet this is the first I read so quickly. It was something to keep you on the end of the page. You can't put it down you want everything to work out. I thought the two stories came together beautifully. I give it 5 stars and will read it again and again.

Nicholas Sparks. With each book I read by Mr. Sparks I find myself drawn into the lovely use of language and flow of the story. Every description, every change of scenery and juxtaposition of characters and their thoughts and actions leave me sad to finish the book only to await another book. Mr. Sparks is a rare find. In The Longest Ride, Ira and Ruth, Luke and Sophia are believable and endearing. WOW!!!!

Eh good. This book would have been way better if he had focused more on the younger couple. I felt like the story with the older couples story was boring and would drag on through the chapters. I would find myself counting how many pages I had till I was done with their section and back to the younger couple. And as most romance novels it was fairly predictable. I liked the book but it could have been better.

Such an enjoyable book!. This was such a great book! It kept me on my toes wanting to know more and more. Some of the chapters were a little slow and hard to get through but in the end, it was totally worth it! I was curious what the outcome was going to be until the very end! Another great book by a my favorite author! :)

Prefer a root canal. I had never read Nicholas Sparks because I assumed he wrote romance books suitable for teens. That being said, I saw that it was very popular and decided to get the "sample". I loved that....the elderly man trapped in his car remembering his past. I was hooked. I ordered the book and it quickly turns into this juvenile romance, complete with stilted conversation, contrived plot and one dimensional characters. I'd just as soon get a root canal as read anything else by him

LOVED IT. Though I'm not a person who reads for fun I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end! As a 16 year old girl I'm always in for a romance novel. I cannot wait till Friday April 10th when the movie comes out! You could say I'm pretty pumped😏👊

THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!. This book really is one of the best books I have ever read. As I neared the ending of this book remembered saying to myself "I could read this book over and over again and never get tired of it". As I rethink about what I said I now see that I was absolutely correct. After all the ups and downs twists and turns this book threw at me I saw how truly amazing this book was and could not stop reading it and with a curfew of 9:00, karate from when school lets out to 6:00, and having to leave the driveway of my house at 7:45 to make it to my morning patrol duty I finished this book in three days I loved it and now it is my favorite book. Can't wait until April 10 when the movie THE LONGEST RIDE enters the movie theater. I will go see it the Friday it comes out and shed tears of joy. I hope you loved the book as much as I did. ❤️😂

The Longest Ride by: Nicholas Sparks. The reader is drawn into two very distinct stories with such intensity that it's difficult to quit reading. The desire to "know what happens" becomes more important than sleep. Relatively quick read considering it covers 9 months for the young couple ; to a lifetime for older couple. Great use of raw emotions to draw the reader further into the story. Desperate to know how it ends. Ending is a bit of a cheat with author not utilizing Sophia's art degree/education ( would have drug the story out, but I've enjoyed watching her learn).

Ok, nice but.... The book is quite good. I was a little disappointed by the first half of the book, the second half was however much better. Perhaps the movie is great.. ever though books are usually so much better than movies. I am a bit puzzled by the fantastic reviews I read on this book?
