This man book 3 review. Cried a lot reading this. An amazing book. Finished this entire series in 3 days! I wish I could read this for the first time again :)

Too long for too little. Surreal

Don’t read. If you want to read about a psychotic man who has violent tendencies then read on. A man who does not want the best for his lover. A man who decides where you live and how you live. A man who forces you to have his children. A man who does not want you to be disloyal but is not loyal in the first place. A man who (spoiler alert) gets what he wants at the end even know he does not deserve anything but a psych ward then read on. He is abusive and content like this should be flagged. He is not ever thinking about how she feels about he relationship or if she even wants to stay in it. This could be Stockholm syndrome from the beginning for all I know. I don’t know why a writer in a progress country would write such an abusive positive book.

Unfinishable. Could not finish as the characters became annoying. The perpetual return of her character into his arms just drove me nuts.

No regrets. Beautiful beautiful book... I almost didn’t read the books because I thought they were going to be just like fifty shades of grey, what a mistake I almost made... amazing trilogy! The way Jodi unravels Jesse as a character and the reasons behind his persona is truly amazing. I will definitely re-read it at some point.

Ugh!. I read this entire series, I'm sad to say, in the hope that Ava would eventually gain a spine and Jesse would change into someone worth really loving. Unfortunately, not only did that not happen, but this third book was painful to read, with its abundance of typos, misspelled words, and incorrect punctuation. I skimmed much of the second and third books (especially the bizarre sex scenes), but still feel I wasted too much of my time in reading this series.

Best ever. Words can't describe how much I loved Jesse and Ava's story. I couldn't put any of the books down. These are the best books I've ever read. I laughed,got mad and cried thru these books. The author did an excellent job.

Too whiney. The female lead is too whiney and immature. Series started really well, but the extent of their “crazy” is too cringey.

A MUST READ!!!!. Ahhhh.....the ending made my heart swell!!! I absolutely devoured this book in 2 days!!!! It is beyond phenomenal!!!!

Don’t bother. This book has no excitement. It’s same thing over and over Jesse needs to lighten up and stop with wanting to control everything and Ava needs to learn how to put her foot down and be woman not let her “husband” walk all over her. Never read a book that annoyed me so much. The first two books were good but seems the thrill ended in the book.

Frustrating and poorly defined alpha male. This series was one of the most frustrating series I've ever read. Never in my life have I rolled my eyes more when reading a book. It is not very well written with an extreme overuse of certain words and phrases. The main male character goes beyond your typical alpha male and borders on abusive and his love interest (I use that phrase loosely) is a total enabler that acts like an obstinate, spoiled child. I wanted to love this but I just couldn't understand all of the hype. Maybe because at the time these were written she was still relatively new to the writing process. I liked The Protector very much but this was just horrible. Jesse Ward is a psychotic character. He's damaged, I get it, but he's also mentally ill.

Jesse best one yet!. This series you can't put down.... I wish she would continue to write about Jesse and Ava . I have re-read several times.....can't put it down

Excellent. This series had me up very late some nights because I couldn’t put these books down, which is not good because I work. Absolutely loved reading these books. Jodi surprised me every time, just as I thought I had things figured I would be wrong ... excellent

EXCELLENT!. I just finished this trilogy. I am IN LOVE and not just with The Lord of the Manor but with all the characters. These books are so well written and easy to understand. I was worried that I would get a little lost with British English but not at all. I wish there was a companion book. I do not want this story to end... ISH!

Rushed and boring. So I already didn't expect this book to be good considering it has been the same dialogue since the first book but as predicted it was not good. The story wasn't bad it was just certain parts. I hate that the author didn't develop mikael more into the story like she did in the second book. I would have like to see a showdown between him and Jesse. It would have been nice to see a little more from him instead of his wife. Also felt the part with Ruth was a little too much and kind of over the top.I felt the ending was rushed and some characters weren't fully developed. I would have like to hear more about sam and kate. Finally I thought the end was cheesy and rushed.

MUST READ!. You will not be disappointed! Download them all 3, lock yourself in your room and read them over the weekend. You will be ever so grateful!

Well Played. First of all, I really enjoyed this complete trilogy! Good read it is indeed, however as a woman it does make you a little upset at how Ava is acting through the entire series. (For my personal taste) However, there are "women" out here in this world that are just like her! Everyone doesn't have to have the "same happily ever after" I love how the author states in the book "this is our normal" which makes you stop & realize yeah that's "their kind of normal" and there's nothing wrong with that! So that's why I say "job well done & very well written!

Really wanted to like it.... Jesse was hard to like throughout all 3 books. Yes the ending explained why he was a total control freak, but it was a little late. These books annoyed me with constant fighting/bickering between the 2 main characters. It was hundreds of pages of fighting then f**king so I skimmed A LOT to reach the end. I tried to like the book & make a connection, but that never happened. This was not one I read into the wee hours of the night. Glad it's over.

Speechless.... This is by far the best trilogy that I've ever read. I hate to say this but... It outdid 50 shades of grey for me. Absolutely LOVE this last book. Great way to end it. I'm now satisfied to end this trilogy. Outstanding!

Good but repetitive. I was captivated with the “This Man” trilogy and was eager to have my questions answered in the last book as well as find out how their story ends. I am quite disappointed with the absurd repetitiveness of this final book. Unfortunately I skipped over some of the parts because I felt as though I was reading the same thing over and over. I feel like creatively was lacking and the whole story became predictable. I stuck with the book to find out how the story ends. While I’m glad I did, it was still a bit disappointing.

Good book, but …. Well developed characters, plot generally flows with few hitches, good escape fiction… Please, please stop saying,”cognitive thought”. REDUNDANT! It impresses no one. Careful with your use of nominative and objective pronouns—they are not interchangeable. “Have ran…”— really? Grammatical errors and problems with word usage interfere with the enjoyment of reading what is an otherwise enjoyable book.

Trilogy. One of the best books that I have read in a long time It's full of interesting twist and turns. It surprises you in every level Loved it

Totally addicted. I'm on my 3rd time reading this trilogy.... Yep, 3rd freaking time! I love it so much that I keep going back... And I simply want more. I TOTALLY LOVE THE EPILOGUE, simply because it's Jesse's POV!! Ms. Jodi, if you can read this please, pretty please, write a continuation of this amazing trilogy on Jesse's POV...

This man confessed. OMG. I am totally in love with Jesse and Ava Ward. Seriously, jesses amazing, a little more than a caveman sometimes, but UGH so sexy. Jodi did an amazing job at writing this trilogy, the books get better and better and " this man confessed " seriously didn't disappoint. I love it. I experienced all sorts of emotions. I laughed, got angry, frustrated, laughed some more honestly YOU NEED TO READ!!!

Frustrating!. I've read each of the books in this series because I wanted to see how it ended but halfway through this last book, all I want to do is smack Ava! She is so completely ridiculous and irresponsible, then Jessie is so cagey, domineering and annoying. How many fights about the same stupid things can one couple have? The author really made me dislike the characters this time around. I don't understand the positive reviews others have left for this bit of rubbish.

OMG!!!. This book rattle along like a house on fire! It is one crazy revelation after another. The transition in their relationship is wonderful to read about and imagine. Their level of intimacy is described like no other. This book and trilogy puts “50 Shades” much lower on my list. And of.

Loved it!. I love the story of Jesse & Ava. I wished I had paced myself and read a little slower. I'm sad their story has come to an end. The books left me definitely wanting more and more!

This Man. This is one of the best trilogies I have ever read! Jodi Ellen Malpas is an amazing writer with an enormous imagination! Her style of writing is fantastic, once you start this book you will not be able to put it down... this is a definite recommend read five shining stars plus 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This Man Trilogy. I absolutely loved "This Man" Trilogy. After I read 50 Shades I thought no other book could compare...but I was wrong!!! The love story between Ava and Jesse captured me so much I felt what they were feeling!!! I loved this Trilogy so much......I wish there was a 4th book....
