Thrilling. I was unable to put the book down. Kept my interest. Thrilling read.
This tale had my emotions all over the place. I loved it!. Ok I love these characters! May, the antagonists, the super shady seeming coworker. Once you think you know what’s going to happen you don’t. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending I still can’t wait to read more. Don’t worry! It’s not a Stephen King ending it’s more of a GOT ending. But seriously, check this out.
Picking up speed!. Deputy Sheriff May Moore and her partner Owen Lowell are on a fast-paced search for a serial killer no one knew was killing in their area for over a decade. Several burial grounds are discovered with the bodies of women who were assumed to be missing, moved, or transient. The reality is so much worse. This has been my favorite May Moore entry so far. May as a character is much more confident and standing on her own.
Great Book. I loved the book
Never. Again. A game with the killer of who is hunting who. Good plot, and non stop action, well done. Given ARC for my honest opinions
This series gets better and better. Really enjoying this series. Characters and plot are very engaging. My only criticism is that May’s internal dialogues are a little redundant at times.
Another step closer to her sister’s murderer!. Another step closer to her sister’s murderer! I really need Blake to give us a book focused 100% on May working on solving her sister’s murder, because while I enjoy these books, I’m fully invested in the little endings we get that give us another piece of her working on it and I’m hooked! In this installment, we see May work together with her sister to solve a case. The dynamic between May and her older sister is interesting – it seems like she wants to and does help her but also puts her in situations where she is the superior one between them. We also see cracks in May’s sister’s life involving her engagement, and it shows that she isn’t the perfect child that she’s portrayed to be. I need more of Lauren’s case though – it’s the best part of the book for me and I really want and need that case solved and not drawn out! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
