"James Acton: A little bit of Jack Bauer and Indiana Jones!"

FROM USA TODAY & MULTI-MILLION COPY BESTSELLING AUTHOR J. ROBERT KENNEDY

THE WORLD’S GREATEST PIRATE WAS ALSO ITS MOST BRUTAL.
ESPECIALLY WHEN BETRAYED BY HER FAMILY.

At the height of her power, Zheng Yi Sao commanded 50,000 men and 400 ships, terrorizing the waters surrounding present day Hong Kong for years.

But her greatest adventure took her south, far south, to the icy waters of Antarctica where she would face a challenge so great, it would change her forever.

Two centuries later, a stunning discovery buried in the ice near McMurdo Station on the frozen continent leads to a race between America and China, both laying claim to the find.

Archaeology Professors James Acton and Laura Palmer are brought in to investigate the find and are caught in the middle when an unknown force, determined to restore a family’s honor lost centuries ago, assaults the base camp.

Triggering a struggle for survival on the frozen wasteland of Antarctica.

In The Antarctica Incident, award winning USA Today and multi-million copy bestselling author J. Robert Kennedy delivers an action-packed thriller that will leave you burning through the pages late into the night. If you enjoy fast-paced adventures in the style of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, and James Rollins, then you'll love this thrilling tale of archaeological intrigue.

The Actons are back!. This time they are in the cold of Antarctica. Another book in the series that has the professor and Delta tea fighting to save the archeological expedition members lives from unfriendly forces.

Antarctica Incident. I will preface this by qualifying the following review as one Mr Kennedy may not want to print for public consumption. I liked the premise of the story but as much as I don’t like to be critical, I hope that the author will take it as constructive. The writing is sophomoric. And the behavior of some of the characters just seemed more than a little hard to believe. The doctor and the nurse, we are led to believe, succumbed to an overwhelming passion for each other while feet away other people’s lives were in grave danger, not to mention their own if they’d been discovered. And the smart aleck banter between the two professors also strained credulity. They wasted precious time while professing that time was critical to saving their team and the other good guys. People were killed and the response from the leaders seemed to be almost apathetic. His use of phrases such “Shots rang out”, are repetitive in the extreme. I would suggest that Mr. Kennedy read some Lee Child, some James Lee Burke and some David Baldacci, to name but a few, it might help him improve his ability to write more enjoyable prose and develop more believable characters and their behaviors in dire situations. Again, the storyline had potential but it was almost painful to read.

It’s cold in Antarctica. Great read on a hot summer day! A place many of us think we would like to visit. Most of us would rather read about it then the actual visit 🥶

The Antarctic Incident. J.Robert Kennedy books always are full of suspense and exciting adventures, as the other books in the series of James Acton i enjoy this book as the others. The twists and turns always me to read more that’s why I always take my time reading his books, just want to enjoy every page.Kevin
