Wonderful story. This is a wonderful story by Sierra Cartwright. I wish it was longer. I didn't want it to end. I loved how Zander and Maddie got a second chance at happiness and love. It's Christmastime in New Orleans and it's time for the Christmas party at Quarter, a BDSM club. Maddie and Zander don't get off on the right foot that evening. His Christmas Gift. It was great romance over a short period of time, Christmas. They didn’t look for love but couldn’t deny their attraction. He is a Dom and she is not sure if he is her Dom. Mr. Grinch meets his match. Mr. Grinch meets his match and the end result is a Christmas marked with love and healing. I did enjoy this story and the characters VERY short road to their happily ever after and I would recommend this story to anyone who wants to read a sweet and sexy short romance. Elf and the grinch. Maddie and Zander will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling. Maddie works at the Quarter and for the holiday celebration she is asked to help at the reception area. Zander is jaded and grumpy after losing his wife and child years ago but the cute little elf Maddie intrigues him. This force of nature is going to plow down her barriers and ask her to take a leap of faith. Entertaining, steamy and will leave you wanting more news from the Quarter! I volunteered to review this story.

Just okay for me. A very short read. For me, it was just alright. I wasn’t absorbed into Zander and Maddie story. I didn’t realize it was a Christmas BDSM type read. It just didn’t work for me. I’m sure there will be many who do. I need more pages, more character background and depth and I can take or leave the spankings and BDSM, I just think this story, obviously didn’t expect it be be surrounding Christmas, has been done and then some. Full of great characters and holidays cheer, this short tale is the perfect read to get into the holiday spirit.
