I love this book. Everything about this book was amazing. I relate to Jacob in so many ways with his anxiety. And with Briana with her depression. And I loved the ending so much. 🥰

6 stars. I almost stopped 30% in to review the book then bc I couldn’t stop laughing & also getting emotional. My kind of spectacular writing, incredibly lovable & unforgettable characters, and a sweetly satisfying slow burn. Read in one sitting (now exhausted lol) & wish I could read again for the first time.

Yours Truly. Beginning of the book was promising, the more I read the more ridiculous the story was. So unrealistic and silly. It was like a bad Hallmark movie. Hate to give up on a book so I continue to read , couldn’t wait until the end .

Charming + Sweet. Playful, adorable. A lot of ooey gooey and a couple repeated plot devices but overall a total charmer + I was so into it I finished it in a day.

Another Home Run - Perhaps Her Best Yet!. I am completely blown away. “Yours Truly” has just rocketed to my absolute favorite Abby Jimenez book so far. Briana and Jacob both rang so true to me and felt so relatable. While managed, I cope with anxiety. Though I try to remain optimistic, I feel broken. Both of these feelings and more were intimately explored throughout the story, and I actually felt a little personally exposed. Abby has a talent for easily letting us into her characters’ minds and hearts, even when the two conflict with each other. This half-Pennsylvania Dutch, half-Puerto Rican girl really wants to try Rosa’s cooking and hang with Jacob’s lovably chaotic family. I wish I had better words to describe all the feels this book made me feel, but alas, I am not Abby.

Cute. I liked this book but I also felt like it dragged at times and was a little repetitive. I do appreciate that one of the main characters anxiety was discussed so openly. Cute book overall.

Very cute. I like this book a lot it was very cute, I started getting bored towards the end but then there was a plot twist and it sucked me right back in.

Eye roll. A cliche love story but not in a good way. It was too much, lots of eye rolls while reading this book, almost could not finish.

Wow!. I rarely give a novel 5 stars, but there was something about this work that really resonated with me. I found myself laughing so many times throughout reading it and connected with both protagonists immediately. Finished it in two days and read the last 60% in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down.

Cute story- just a long wait. The best way to describe the book is like you’ve been climbing up 30 flights of stairs and you keep thinking you’re almost at the top and there ends up being another flight to go up. Their love ends of being a never ending cycle of almost getting there and then backing away. You almost get the treat but then it’s taken away. Very annoying to me personally, I’m reading a romance book so give me the romance not the trill.

One of the best books I’ve ever read. What I really liked about the book without saying too much is it really goes into depth about the problems people face when finding true love, a lot of people go out and look for it and that’s what gets them hurt and makes them set up walls and barriers so that they’ll never get hurt the same but this book really depicts that and I love how it shows both sides, a really bad over thinker and what he goes through but also later on her trauma and what she goes through. This book definitely opened my mind on perspective and how important it is to know that no matter how well you know someone you can never be in their head and you never know what their truly thinking.

Romantic and spicy. Loved it. Worth the reading. Had me hooked since chapter 1.

Great read, but a little cringey. I really enjoyed this book overall. I finished it in 2 days, but it was the dialogue was a little too realistic for me. I read romance novels to transcend and this was like I was watching a new tv show. They talked about things like instagram, tik tok, things I just don’t need to read about. Small detail that I overcame of course, and the story was great. It talked about social anxiety and depression.

Such a fun read. Blew threw this in 3 days. Such a good love story that keeps you engaged until the very end!

Heartwarming and Real. Two imperfect characters can fall in love. This book kept me coming back for more because I became invested in the outcome…one that is heartwarming and real.
