❤️❤️❤️. I hate reading but once I started reading your book I could not stop it's very good I love it and going to keep reading more of your books.

The Trouble with Goodbye. The author did a goo job of addressing a very emotional topic and illustrating what happens when the victim is blamed or shamed.

So pleasantly surprised. I started this book expecting a generic love story (based on the summary), one that I had already read a hundred times but would still read again for the sake of entertainement. I have been very surprised, but pleasantly surprised, to find that the protagonists are actually very lovable and that their relationship actually feels like a genuine one. The most pleasant surprise was that their relationship was not the main focus of the story, but rather helped to lead the main protagonist to find courage buried inside. That is a powerful message. And even more impressive is the tackling of a subject that is so huge today and so widely misunderstood or denigrated. All in all, I enjoyed it very much and stayed up way later than I should to finish it. Bravo!

The Trouble With Goodbye. This is a wonderful story about how real and lasting relationships form. Leigh Anne suffers the worst trauma a young woman can endure. And afterwards, her family expects her to just forget the "incident" and move on with her life. Her parents don't understand what she has gone through and are only concerned about the family's image. Knox comes in to Leigh Anne's life exactly when she needs him but doesn't realize how much she does need him. Both of these young adults have suffered given their individual circumstances. Together or apart, they will find a way to have bright, and freeing futures.

Wow! Such courage. A truly inspirational story. The whole tale grips the reader with the emotional struggle to admit the truth through overwhelming opposition. And a fantastic love story at the same time. I didn't want to put it down, and it just got better the further I read. Makes me thirst for more from the author.

A Must Read. I so enjoyed this book. This book was filled with so many layers of relatable issues. Issues with relationships, domestic abuse, rape, self esteem, and courage to believe in yourself. Not everything you see, and hear is what it appears to be, and don’t judge a book by its cover. Most of all it was about love. Love for yourself, and finding true love. From the moment Knox stared into Leigh Anne’s eyes, I was hooked. This man was strong, and gentle, sweet, but edgy, determined, but not pushy. As the book went on I fell more, and more head over heels in love with this guy. Leigh Anne’s story broke my heart, but her challenges with her mother infuriated me. I wanted to come thru the e-reader, and teach a mother a lesson. How could she treat her own daughter that way, and not just over what had happened to her at school, but right from the beginning. Knox’s Story was powerful as well. I could see so many kids at his age going through the same thing. But his perseverance to prevail was inspiring. His talents were amazing. Knox’s support of Leigh Ann in this story was a testament of TRUE love. He was there for her, loved her, cared for her, and protected her. Someone once said, Love isn’t a feeling, it’s always doing the right thing by that person. I feel this is who Knox and Leigh Ann were. They were unconditional, and their love was that way. It was a beautiful, sweet, and romantic story. It had lots to teach about true love, and encouragement, and believing enough in yourself to reslise you are worth it. It also taught you not to allow what others say, and do to control your life. You have the power. And when your wronged in a way you should have never been, Love, strength, and belief in yourself will get you through. Oh, and Knox’s secret that came out in the end, I would have given anything to of been a fly on the wall. Lol #10

Emotional. This was a traumatic experience turned into a series of events. As I read this book, I couldn’t believe how upset I felt by the lack of support from the family. I’m glad that she finally made the right decision and moved forward with her life.

Thoughtful read. I truly enjoyed this story. It was told in a heart-felt way with compassion, strength and love. The main character is someone so many young women could relate to. Even if you haven't shared her experiences, you can empathize with her inner turmoil and her ultimate decisions to make a better life for herself.

An appropriate time to read this. It isn’t often that a book filed under ‘Romance’ is written in the first person. How, for example, does one write the hot and heavy bits in the first person! Expectedly, there is nothing in that department. This book is not a romance. It is a story of growing up, of the power of youth, of grief and loss, and, critically, of the redeeming power of trust, courage and friendship - the kind, especially, that only the young seem to be capable of. As we all roil in the throes of the #metoo movement; this book surprisingly helps to understand the trauma and tumult of a ‘victim’ of assault. The first person account works powerfully here. It is a masterful technique that impels the reader to listen to the voice of the woman herself. Women are constantly (and easily) judged for speaking up too late. We do it to ourselves too all the time. This book will make many rethink their assumptions. It is fast paced, has a plot that is tightly knit and reads true. And importantly, it has the right emotions and is hopeful. A book that is necessary for our times. ‘Highly recommend’

Love and trauma. A fantastic story line highlighting a to often issue covered in a sensitive way with a beautiful love story running along side at the same time, really enjoyed this.

Reasonable read. Mostly an easy and pleasant read, with good descriptions of feelings in complicated situations. But as I progressed with reading it became a little obvious and boring and also over descriptive of those feelings.

Average at best. I decided to give this book a read as it was free and although I finished it, I was extremely underwhelmed. The story itself was very predictable with a lot of cliches and the characters were one dimensional and forgettable. Although having said this, I was able to read until the end which is what has earned this book it's 2 stars.

Love at first chapter. Honestly, I die for any romance novel. But these books just felt so closer to home then the typical night in shining armour fairytales. I fell in love with each story and could really see how the writing changed to suit which girl the book was about. I love these characters and only wish there was more to read.
